How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We had a very nice stay for one night. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was just right and convenient. The staff was very helpful getting us situated and on our way to tour Florence!

It's could be noisy at night because of room facing busy street. Could be impossible to sleep with windows open, you have to rely on the air conditioner. The wardrobe is kind of small for 2 person.
Very spacious room, clean and well maintained. Room had large screen smart TV. Great location- 3 min walk from Duomo. Close to major attractions. Free breakfast is made to order at the facility and it was pretty good. Reception peoples were very helpful and nice. They also arranged a taxi for a very early departure.

Nothing about the property at all. Florence is a working city and it is noisy. So you need to be prepared for that

Clean and decently spacious room stay for one quick night. Maybe i missed something, but i dont think we were provided blankets on the bed, just a sheet. Otherwise, clean and comfortable stay. They helped me with my luggage and called a taxi for me on my departure. Nice guys.

You can hear the noise from the streets, especially when the shops downstairs open/close their metal doors. Also, hotel room key needs to be inserted in the slot for power to work in the room (good for conserving energy, bad when coming back to a warm room after walking around for so long).
Very close to main attraction (the Duomo), so it’s nice to hear the bells ringing during the day. Spacious quadruple room (C-10). Friendly and very helpful reception but they seem to be at the front desk only during check-out and check-in hours (not 24 hr).

I gave a 9, instead of a 10 (maximum) because we found the location pretty difficult to notice after dark. We arrived after normal checkin hours ( but were given all the information needed for self checkin) - however, despite Google Maps indicating pretty accurately the position of Biffi, we passed it by multiple times, because we didn't notice the very discreet sign, and it was a gate like many others on that street. Other than this, everything was perfect!
The location is literally 2-3 minutes by foot from the Basilica, thus in the heart of the old center. We had a car that we left at a very close by Parking Garage (by trespassing the ZTL signs - but the manager of the garage assured us that they communicate the license plate of the cars that get a legitimate parking to the local police such that they won't be fined). The room and the bathroom are outstandingly decorated - high quality furniture and bathroom design. The cleanliness impeccable! Friendly staff. All in all a good value for the location.

After room cleaning stuff turn off room A/C and room get hot but air conditioner work well and cool off room in 15 min

Nothing we didn't like
The location was top, walking distance to all the main attractions of the city and also the train station. The accomodation was clean and welcoming and the hosts super !!! We highly recommend this B n B.
