A bit of noise during the night, early in the morning.

Accommodation is centrally located (10 mins from the National museum, 5 mins from the Lungomare, 15 mins from the port) The room, rather flat, was very spacious, clean, with all the required necessities (fridge, coffee maker, etc) Breakfast (coffee+1 croissant) was served in a nearby bar (coffeebar) called B!Art. A bit noisy though.

The room is in such a awesome location, perfect for who wants to visit the city centre. Moreover, the building is an old-fashioned one, lovely experience. Super clean and easy going.

The shower curtain was flimsy and wouldn't let you take advantage of the brilliant shower they have without flooding the bathroom floor.

Fillipo the host, was great and helped me have a fluid stress free stay. The room is really big and the bed was huge and the most comfortable bed I've ever lay on.

The room is close to the front door so you do hear people going in and out quite well but throughout the night (where it counts) I didn't hear anyone.

I liked how Fillipo the host made it a breeze to get to and his warm welcome to a really beautiful room that was really classy and tastefully put together. The bed was huge and divinely comfortable and it's location is perfect to put you right near everything you need.

Breakfast is simple but nice, at the cutest coffee shop in town. The building is vintage style but very comfortable. Shower is exceptionally good, everything clean.

It’s not so much that I didn’t like it, but I’d rather call it some noteworthy points: It’s in the city center, that means the buildings are old so are the rooms. Overall, not the coziest place to stay, but ok I did not like the shower. It is one of these shower with a three shower outlets/shower heads The locks are old and really need some patience to open. You might consider this not as a big problem. That might be true for you, but not necessarily for your fellow neighbors. Some lack, let’s say, mechanical sympathy and it takes them a couple of minutes to open the doors, which can be very annoying at night. Once a girl panicked, because she couldn’t open the door from inside. Needless to say that it was in the middle of the night. Geez, 🤬

It is the perfect location for visiting the city center. The host, I don’t know his name, I thought he didn’t tell me or I forgot. But also in mails he never told his name, is super responsive and is perfectly reacting to any request. I always got immediately feedback and he tried to fix things. Room was OK.

No kitchen facilities, only a micro fridge and kettle. The room was at street level and the noise levels from the street and the other residents was disappointing.

The ants were unpleasant.

The property itself exceeded my expectations - with not just a bedroom but a full living room space which meant I had a lot of space to relax. The bathroom was good too. I appreciated the addition of a refridgerator, kettle, and other small kitchen amenities. However the downside of this place was that there were ants. I assume it was due to the heat and maybe the kitchen area - there wasn’t just one or two but quite a lot. This made me uncomfortable at times, especially when using the kitchenette area and utensils. However I did contact the host about the problem and he sent the cleaner to completely clean the area. For the price of the place, it’s really affordable and good value for money. Located very central close to cafes and shops, only a 5 minute walk from a sea view and just under 15 minutes from the main Reggio Calabria train station, it was great and easy to get to many places via foot. Thanks! (P.S if you stay here and are wanting good pizza, check out Pasqualino Pizza & Vino - only a 2 minute walk away and has a delicious selection of unique pizzas!)
