Claudio is a fantastic host. He's easy to reach via WhatsApp, helpful, and his location was perfect. The bed slept well, and the shower was fantastic!

Water heater gurgling in the middle of the night was a little annoying - but nothing a set of ear plugs couldn't fix. (minor nit pick)

Basic Italian breakfast was provided at nearby restaurant. Location was very central to old city centre. Room was very unique. Property has an arrangement for private parking at a reasonable fee.

Because it’s built into the rock it can smell a bit musty if closed up, but that was easily remedied with the powerful air on in a few minutes. You have to climb stairs to get there, which is difficult with luggage, but it’s one of the most convenient places. Parking not far

The room is exactly a you see it - really cute and a different experience which I enjoyed. The host was very accommodating and kept in communication to ensure I had everything I needed. Very need was met.

Claudio was extremely responsive and helpful. The room was typical of the area and near lots of lovely bars and restaurants. The breakfast voucher was a nice touch

It’s a little difficult to find, but i think that is everywhere in Ostuni as the city is built like a maze. Claudio was really helpful and sent his collaborator to help us navigate when we got lost.

My partner and I had a lovely time at Atagio, and particularly really appreciated Claudio’s hospitality. He was very kind and took many opportunities to message and check in to see if we needed anything, and was kind enough to recommend several restaurants to us, even making reservations on our behalf. The room itself feels like an up market hotel in a unique cave-like setting. The shower especially is really impressive. There were really nice details too, for example slippers on the bed and a mini bar with really affordably-priced drinks. It’s also in a really central location with an abundance of eateries and bars nearby. The room is also more spacious than a typical hotel room in Italy. Claudio was a lovely host and I would recommend staying here :)

This is the most stunning accommodation we have stayed in. And favourite place we stayed on our 6 weeks across Europe. The room is unique and stunning the brick and stone work was beautiful. The shower was amazing it was spacious and the pressure was incredible. The amenities provided were lovely. The host went above and beyond on helping us with things to do and how to find it. Looking forward to staying here again. With the breakfast cards given in the room make sure you take the physical card as they don’t accept photos of the cards. Amazing stay and one we will always remember

Room in the historical center close to a recommended paid parking spot from Claudio made it very easy to park outside the historical center and reach the property. Room feels like inside a cave but at the same time there is lots of light. Claudio was very helpful in allowing us to leave our suitcases before the check-in and recommending must-see spots to visit and go eat at.

The price, location, styling and overall the amazing nights sleep we had. Communication with the host via text was super!! Even little videos or how to walk here from the carpark etc. Short walk to everything in the historical old town centre. 10 outta 10.

The Atagio was wonderful, with great attention to detail throughout! The location is excellent, close to many good restaurants and bistros. Most importantly, Claudio, the owner, was incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to offer recommendations and assistance!

Very well renovated, beautiful room inside the historical center and calm despite the proximity to a bar. The only accommodation that had the right blanket for the season.

Beautiful room. Claudio was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome. He sent helpful video instructions to find the room and was available to help at all times. He even made reservations for us at an amazing restaurant nearby which turned out to be the best meal of our Italy trip. Loved the cafe breakfast next-door where we had a cappuccino and Apulian pastry. Overall- a perfect experience.
