My standard room felt a bit claustrophic as I couldn't look out at all.

Marika was an excellent host, providing a lovely house and amazing breakfast. She arranged a car pick up from the airport which suited me as it was getting late and I was unfamiliar with the city. She was always ready to help out as needed.

We had a wonderful stay at Atmosfere Puniche B&B! Marika was a wonderful hostess that helped us in any way she could: restaurant recommendations and reservations, travel arrangements, suggestions for what to take in in Palermo, and more! The breakfasts each morning were a genuine taste of Sicily using fresh ingredients from Sicily. Her B&B is situated in a historic Palazzo and there is much to learn and to see at the B&B! And, it is wonderfully located in the historical center of the city - we walked everywhere and felt safe always. I hope you will book and enjoy Atmosfere Puniche B&B with Marika!

Was clean and beautifully decorated with antique and modern artwork and artefacts. Extremely clean and very spacious and comfortable. Our host was extremely warm, welcoming and helpful and cooked us amazing authentic Sicilian breakfasts everyday. Was absolutely outstanding service and hospitality. We will recommend this place to everyone visiting Palermo.

Mariangela‘s joy in cooking and her love of Sicilian foods shone through in the delicious breakfasts that we voted the best for this trip, and we have had some excellent ones. The apartment is lovingly and oh so stylishly created. It was a joy to walk through to our rooms. The terrace was lush and green and a delightful location for our breakfast.

The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The attention to detail from table settings to the food presentation was very professional. Marika prides her self on providing authentic Sicilian cuisine made by her with an explanation of the dishes.The room was very spacious and comfortable. The decor throughout the b and b was unique with many beautiful pieces on display. We enjoyed learning about the history of the building and were privileged to see the ancient Roman wells that had been excavated. Marika was a very gracious host and I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this b and b

None. Everything was perfect.

The accommodation is absolutely special. Its atmosphere and location are special. It has its own closed parking, which is a rarity in Palermo. It is in an excellent location, everything important and interesting in Palermo is within a 10-15 minute walk. But the absolute special thing is the owner herself, whose colorful and kind personality permeates the entire property. The breakfast is wonderful, varied and everything has a historical interest.

Beautiful property with fascinating glimpses of its ancient history . Furnished throughout in an entirely unique , eclectic style . What makes the property stand out is the owner , Marika who is passionate about sharing her love and pride in the city of Palermo and the island of Sicily , its history , culture and food . Ah , food - the breakfasts ( different every day) are superb . So , so good . Marika was super accommodating and helpful to us with a much delayed flight in and a very late flight out , advice on places of interest to make the most of our stay and in recommending a local restaurant ( try it , you will not be disappointed ) . Thank you for your kindness .

Nothing to do with the property itself, but if you’re thinking about renting a car it’s not going to be easy getting to and from the B&B. Make sure you understand the ZTL as the house is in the city center, and beware of the VERY narrow roads.

We absolutely loved it! The B&B is a few meters from the Main Street but still very quiet at night. Marika was such a great hostess, she helped us getting the ZTL, she allowed us to have a late check out since our train was leaving in the afternoon, the breakfast was fantastic. Definitely great value for money, would 100% recommend it.

If you want to have a car, this is not the place for you. It’s hard to get in and out of unless you are an experienced Italian driver.

Great quiet location in the heart of the old town, within easy walking distance of the Cathedral, markets and other sights. Lovely breakfast and an attentive helpful host. The accomodation is an ensuite room within an enormous apartment located in what looks from the outside like an office building. But inside the apartment is gorgeous.

Everything! Our host Mariangela was so welcoming and friendly. Our room was clean, plenty storage, aircon , large bathroom and showering facilities. Very unique shared spaces with views to ruins below. Breakfast was incredible, really set us up for each day! Location was great, but just far enough away from any noise.

With road closures it was a bit of a challenge to drive here. Host made it easy as she met us on her scooter and directed us to the property.

The location of this place was great. And the host was friendly and responsive. She served the most amazing, unique breakfasts every day representing Sicily (including granitas!). She escorted us to the property as roads were closed. The place was kind of eclectic – felt like part museum, part someone’s home. Parking was super close. The bed was good.
