What a wonderful place! Close to everything. A beautiful old building with lovely furnishings. They were there to greet us when we arrived and always lovely to deal with. We could leave our bags until the room was ready. The room was spacious and light and had a large bathroom. Breakfast was generous and delicious! Thank you so much for a great stay. I highly recommend this fantastic accommodation.

Just know that there is no elevator. We were several floors up but it didn't really bother us. The host delivered our bags to our room as we had dropped them off earlier than our room was ready.

Not only was the location convenient to the waterfront, the host was very accommodating, the room was nicely appointed, and the most comfortable bed and quietest room. Breakfast was delicious.

If you are not good with flights of stairs do check where your room is and help available with bags etc. Our two tier room was very nice but did have a short spiral staircase to climb in to bed (which we enjoyed) but other rooms are single level. Just best to check first.

This is an excellent location within easy walking distance of Como Lago station (with its links north to Milan). The hosts are a lovely couple, very helpful at all times and very enthusiastic about the property - a converted historic convent - and Como in general. Breakfast good too!

Albeit it is an old building, very atmospheric, we didn’t appreciate until we got there that our room’s. mezzanine bed was at the top of frankly a dangerous set of stairs - for an old bloke like me - a risk I would prefer not to confront every time we got into or out of the bed (very comfortable bed though). Because of the configuration of the rooms, noise from neighbours - talking, flushing toilets etc…is pretty loud. , especially at night. BEWARE - except when I found the in room TV power cord and took it out of a lead…there are NO power points in the room which take modern EU/AUS power adapters. So you can only charge one device at a time.

The host and his staff were all very friendly, efficient and accommodating. We couldn’t fault their service. Especially the ladies who made the lovely breakfast and attended to the room. Wonderfully located. Easy to get to from ferry or station.

The property is hard to spot from the street and the facade towards the street could certainly do with some renovation. These are remarks that didn't have any effect on our stay. If you look past the cover this is a gem!

The greeting from the hosts were amazing. The family feeling breakfast was prepared wonderful. Clean and good spaced rooms, excellent bathroom and beds. The guidance to restaurants and entertainment and the location of the property was certainly something we really appreciated. We were lucky to get a parking lot at the property.

The staff (cant remember the name of our wonderful hostess) member was great person. Made the breakfest and we really enjoyed the eggs. Room was really nice and roomy for our needs. Would spent some nights there again and was great value. Maybe a little bit hard to find at first😁

The room is on the third floor and only accessible by stairs. It didn’t bother us at all, but it's good to be aware of.

We really enjoyed our stay! The building has a unique charm, and the private parking was very convenient. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the city center. We stayed in the 'Liz' room, which was spacious, clean, and nicely arranged.
