The rooms were very big with a desk and clothing rack. I liked the location, a short walk to the main attractions, but quiet and removed from the tourist traps. The self check in was easy and the host provided the information in a timely manner. The "shared bathrooms" were not an issue. Each floor has 4 rooms and 2 spacious bathrooms, so I never had to wait use the toilet or shower. It was very clean.

Might warn folks there are about 20 steps up to the lodgings; difficult with heavy luggage, but doable. Otherwise, everything was great.

Location was superb. Easy walk to Borgo La Croce, a marvelous pedestrian only street that seems to attract Firenze residents -- not touristic. Excellent shops, food, a few cool bars with 5 euro cocktails (vs. 12-14 in the tourist areas), several local parks. With Borgo La Croce, you can walk all the way to the carousel near the Duomo. Apparently a good seafood restaurant across the street (Mareme); I did not get to try it this time. Host Raimondo was cordial, professional, and very responsive to any questions. Very good host. Clear instructions on door codes, etc. Would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable quiet place to stay, about a 20min walk from central Florence. Shared facilities but felt private enough. Aircon was great in the summer heat. Close to the river and a great pizza spot.

The room was absolutely beautiful with a lovely design and very clean. The location is perfect – everything is just a short walk away. The little terrace was a great spot to relax and enjoy some time outside. We were pleasantly surprised to find games in the drawer, which was such a fun touch. The bathrooms were modern, spotless, and very nice. Overall, a wonderful stay!

My only issue was the stairs up to my room.

It is approximately a mile from all of the tourist attractions, making it very easy to walk and step away from what can be very crazy with tourist. Also about one block from a bus option as a way of traveling. My room was generous and size minimal and furniture and remote enough from the street so that you don’t hear a lot of noise. There’s also a nearby supermarket for getting small items you might need.

Shutters didn't close all the way, so a bit of light came into the room; couldn't lower the aircon temp (it was set at 16 but the windows didn't fully seal so the room felt quite warm); quite noisy at night due to the road being a bit busy as well as the other doors in the building.

The hotel was easy to find and Raimondo was great with communicating ahead of our stay to make sure we had easy access and all the info we needed. The room was clean and spacious, with a large comfortable bed. Shared bathrooms were clean and the showers were great. It's about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town and felt very safe. A few great cafes/restaurants nearby too (Bar Bar is a 5 minute walk, highly recommend the food).

We liked the location. It was close to the centre but not so close that you were away from the crowds which we enjoyed. It felt more authentic and there were some good affordable cafes nearby.

The building is quite noisy, though that’s to be expected from a characterful place. While the bathroom was generally clean, it could benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning.

Excellent location – about a 15–20-minute walk from the city center. There’s a lovely bakery nearby, perfect for starting the day with a nice breakfast and good coffee. Communication with the host was smooth and clear, which we especially appreciated since we arrived a bit later than expected. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The value for money is really great, and we would definitely stay here again if we return to Florence!

The location of the house is great, with a good neighbourhood but a long-ish walk to the old city itself. There are plenty of bus options though. Host was very helpful and active!

Although we’re aware there’s no elevator in the building, it’s a high flight of stairs on the 3rd floor. Challenging for those who cant pack light due to distance. Shared bathroom means you should wait your turn or deal with smell. We suggest to provide air freshener and replace soap dispensers

No sound isolation, very noisy. It’s impossible to get some uninterrupted sleep because you hear everything from the street and what’s going on behind the door — door slamming, coughs, sneezes and everything.

Cool location (fast to reach it by feet), a lot of public transport, shops. The guesthouse is clean, has everything you may wish. Terrace is a chefs kiss!

Everything about this place was fab! We were able to check in early and it had everything you needed. The hosts were lovely and really organised with check in. Down the road there are lots of independent shops which is really nice. Would definitely stay here again!

Raimondo was very kind with us and replied to our messages instantly. We didn't go to the terrace so I can only speak for the room which we found very comfortable. The location is very close to the train station Firenze Campo di Marte (15 min. walk) which is closer than Firenze S.M.
