How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not a big deal, but the shuttle was 8 Euros each way and shared between a handful of hotels, so it was a 25 min. ride (for less than 2 miles) from FCO to the guest house. It has a very specific schedule so if you miss one you probably have to wait well over an hour for the next one.
This cozy guest house was clean and comfortable with a sweet, accommodating staff. We loved the elevator, since we were so tired of carrying our suitcases up and down hundreds of stairs and slopes around Italy. Fresh pastries were available with yogurt and beverages in the morning.

Beds were not overly comfortable
Perfect for a one or two night stay near Rome airport. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable but fine for our one night stay. Bathroom was tidy, just a basic room really! Very friendly staff!

the cleanliness of the place was subpar, the bed comforter looked dirty and did not have a cover, the bed sheets and towels were well below the acceptable level, the bed frame and the walls were distressed ( it looked it needed a fresh paint). For that reason I will not recommend the place .
The facility is in a nice location, close to the airport by car ( it offers a shuttle in the morning), next to the fishing port, nice restaurants. The staff was very nice and helpful. The facility offers a basic breakfast: croissants, coffee, yogurt in a very homey environment. I would say the staff deserves a full 5 star recommendation.

Airport shuttle not available before 6:10 AM. The taxi ride a short distance to FCO still expensive. Walls were thin - I could hear noises from other rooms. AC control wasn’t working - temperature goes up only with either up/down button. So it was hot. Can’t open windows - there are mosquitoes. Hair dryer plug - no outlet in T&B - it wasn’t portable. I cancelled my 2 future reservations.
Close to the airport (FCO). Alessandro (staff/receptionist) was very helpful, informative; communicated well. Short walk to several restaurants. Quiet neighborhood.

The room was totally white/ without any color/ art / decoration.
Location was only 2 blocks from the ocean boat canal, and walkable restaurant district. The hostess was very nice, informative and helpful.

I think it is a bit pricy for a simple place. Breakfast was, well, normal Italian breakfast. Processed juice, processes jam, processes toasts, cofee. Not a single fruit or vegetable. Nice croasons.
Nice place. 5 minutes walk from harbor restaurants. 10 minutes bus ride from the airport for 1.1eu. 3 minutes walk from the bus stop. Very lovely landlady. Very quiet. Room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a night stay close to the airport.

I had a very lumpy pillow which made it impossible to sleep. I was exhausted. Most disappointing was that I could not store my luggage before my flight and retrieve it in time. The property is closed between 10:30 and 1:30. To be honest if I’d known this I wouldn’t have booked. I would have paid more elsewhere to have that convenience. The end result is that I had to go to the airport super early and waste time. Luggage storage at the airport is expensive and not worth it. I felt like I didn’t get what I needed out of the stay due to poor sleep and early departure for my luggage.
The space is modern and clean very close to everything you need. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s a well thought out and laid out space. The airport shuttle is convenient.

I stayed 1 night , the property is very clean , the location is really nice quite place, close the river , plenty of of restaurants & cafe’s nearby, you can also walk across the river, its good for a very short stay as there is no many things to see there . They offer shuttle from to the airport cost 8 euros , distance to the airport around 12 minutes by shuttle.
