How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Everything was perfect, hospitality was very high, Ms. Ilaria was so helpful, supportive, good adviser, guide in everything we could do in Sorrento (dining, tours, beaches).Breakfast was so pleasant just in downstairs cafe shop with fresh croissant, brioche, omelet, coffee; mmmmm mamma mia so delicious.We felt Ilaria's care every day, she provides us with big bottle of water everyday, in the kitchen every single thing was available which keep B&B Middtown Sorrento apart from other usual B&Bs. Location is 2 mins to train station and 10 mins walk to port and marina. Close to restaurants and downtown. Our next time stay definitely will be B&B Midtown S.E. See you Ilaria next time. We miss you, miss your beautiful smile.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. The location could not be better, very central, short walking distance from train station, attractions and lots of eateries too. The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Ilaria, the host, was very helpful upon check in and check out was a breeze. Will be recommending this place to friends/ family! We had a great stay at Ilaria’s apartment! It’s very close to the Sorrento train station, the beach, and lots of restaurants. The place was sparkling clean with a huge bathroom and a super comfy bed. Ilaria was so helpful, giving us clear directions from Naples and always communicating well. She even left us water and arranged for daily cleaning. Highly recommend

Faultless.
Great location near the train station and a short walk to all of Sorrentos attractions. Very comfortable large bed with quality pillows and bedding in a large apartment. Great shower with quality toiletries and good supply of tea/coffee/sugar. Great communication from Ilaria re: access and recommendations. Loved our stay!

The owner , she is just the sweetest . Gave us all information and was always on point to really our messages. She also accommodated us in staying a little later so we could buy an extra luggage . Great stay! The apartment is less than a 5-minute walk from the train station, super clean, and equipped with modern amenities. The room was spacious, with strong Wi-Fi and bathroom essentials provided. Our host was friendly and very helpful, offering local tips, a Sorrento map, and even assisting with bus info to the airport. They were flexible with check-in/check-out and quickly resolved a key issue on our first night, arriving within 5 minutes. Communication was easy via WhatsApp. Highly recommend!

Ilaria is a wonderful host, she gave us all sorts of recommendations about what to do in the city. The apartment is very centrally located, comfortable to reach since it's close to the main station and just 200 meters away from the main square. The piers are also quickly reachable from there.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything!!!! ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND CLEAN!! AC works great and the cleaning lady was awesome cleaning the room daily. Train and bus station 5 min walk. Laundry facility is a 10 min walk. Quiet place to rest after a long day out.

The only thing I would suggest is a coffee machine as the kettle and tea provided was good but a good cup of coffee in the morning would be wonderful!
B&B Midtown Sorrento was a perfect location easy to get to from the train station. An amazing, clean, comfortable and spacious apartment. The bathroom was large with perfect shower with hot water instantly and good water pressure flow. The bed was very comfortable with fresh linen. Kitchen space also spacious. The large opening doors on either side of the room gave us both morning and evening sun. Our host Ilaria was a perfect hostess and readily gave us great advice on what to do and how to get to Sorrento from Napoli.

Ilaria has made our trip a wonderful stay. Her apartment was very beautiful, very clean and in the central. She helped us to book a taxi and a trip to Amalfi Coast. She was always very quick to answer any question. Breakfast at the downstairs at the bakery was delicious! We were so pleased with this place and we recommend to anyone who want to have a pleasant stay.

Great location, close enough to the train station, harbour and touristic center, but offering a quiet stay. The apartment is spacious, clean and well maintained. The check in was very smooth, the communication with the host went perfectly. The coffee and pastries offered at the coffee shop downstairs are delicious!

The host Ilaria is so detail and caring,contacting us even days before our arrival and trying to check if we need any information every now and then during the stay and printed out for us to go to Casarlano Village which is only available during Christmas and was such a wonderful experience ! Very clean and comfortable apartment where we spend a few days just relaxing in the apartment. Just few steps from bus & train station and very near to Pollio Supermarket and everything we need daily.
