The bed was very noisy so we couldn't sleep well because every single move would wake us up because of the noise that it was making :( There was a very unpleasant smell in the bathroom so we tried to leave the bathroom door and the balcony door open so that it might go away but after you close the bathroom door for a while,the bad smell is back.We also used the aircon in the room to get rid of that weird smell.I think the bathroom needs a better ventilation system.The building is for sure very old so I understand that it's one of the reasons that the building itself has a certain smell that you sense as soon as you enter the main door. I think that the price is right considering the location so for a short stay I think it's worth it.Florence is really a city that you must visit at least once in your lifetime :)

Location is good,in just 5 minutes you reach the station where you can take the T2 tram that will bring you to the main train station or the airport.It takes only 15 minutes on foot to reach the Florence Duomo.It was easy for us to explore the city as it was so close.Lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Staff was very friendly and the room was big and clean. We also had a small balcony which was nice. Free tea bags,some bread and jam was also on our table in the room :) The aircon in the room was working very well. The ceiling was very interesting although it was pretty cracked.

Toilet was not so clean. There was also a partial window leading to another room in our room that was odd.

Location, High ceilings, secure. Super friendly staff let us leave our bags after check out.

The rooms and corridors would need some renovation and/or repainting as they give a bit gloomy first impression, but it didn't bother us too much during our stay.

The room has all that is needed for a short stay in Florence. It's equipped with AC, a kettle, and a small cosmetic kit. The whole facility is maintained and cleaned every day, and towels are exchanged regularly. The hosts are very friendly and helpful - they gave us a map of the city and explained how to get to the train station. The location is perfect! Just around 10-15 minutes away from the top tourist attractions. There are also some good cafes and restaurants nearby. When staying here, you definitely need to try a cornetto with pistaccio and coffee at the cafe downstairs - it's pure taste of Italy <3

Bathroom was a really weird set up For me at just on 6 foot - I had to sit on the toilet sideways as shower screen was in the way

I made a mistake and I selected the wrong dates on my booking, I called two days before my staying and the staff managed to find me a room for the night I needed. I really appreciated the flexibility.

The place was not up to expectations and the bathroom was a safety hazard. The shower was very small for even an average size person and the bathroom floor was extremely slippery. my wife slipped and had a terrible injury which created problems for our entire trip.

The place was adequately tidy and there were clean sheets and towels. The staff was friendly and kind enough to wait for us after we informed we might be slightly late.

You can hear everything from the hallway and the other rooms. It seems that at least on the weekend it's used as a party place, so there was a loud party in another room until after midnight and drunk people were coming back in until the morning.

The location is great and the value for money is appropriate. The furniture is rather old and basic, but the room was reasonably clean.

It would have been nice to have instant coffee and milk in the room . The hallway was very dark at night and the lift didn’t work when I got back in the evening and left in the morning early . Also the tv did not work - well it turned on but no idea how to use it - remote was held together with sellotape

There was no breakfast included. There was only dry toast in a packet next to the kettle, there is also no fridge in the room, making it difficult if you buy some breakfast food to keep it in the room. Building is slightly older.

The bed was very comfy and the location was good.

The room was old fashion but clean and well maintained. The AC worked very well and quite, critical at this hot summer. Quite area at walking center from Firenze center.

It was noisy and the room felt awkwardly designed: step down into the small room and step up into the bathroom. No armoire or closet, just a metal pole with some arms to hang clothes on. The bed was small and uncomfortable. The bidet was not fully attached to the floor. I recognize that Florence is expensive and in demand, but I was still disappointed. Next time I’ll just spend a little more and expect substantially more quality.

It wasn’t a far walk from central Florence and there were some nice restaurants around. The manager was friendly.
