Three flights of stairs to the first floor no elevator. It’s to be expected in old Florence but as a small older woman I wrestled my 35 lb bag and almost didn’t make it.

The bed was firm but comfortable. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast in the piazza at Caffe Perseo was excellent. Also excellent location! Uffizi was just across the square. River was a block away. Duomo was 2 blocks.

The only thing we were disappointed with was the small corner shower stall size.

Comfortable second floor room in a perfect location just off of La Signora dí Firenze square in the middle of Florence. A big plus was the daily excellent breakfast at Perseo’s Cafe. Staff support was also outstanding.

Location can not be beat. The owner went out of his way to welcome us and make us feel welcome. He helped with our bags, and have us helpful information. Highly recommend. Customer service extraordinare!

This B & B was amazing! Seamless access with welcome letter and instructions to room. The room was spacious and very luxe! location right in the heart of Florence. Reception staff very helpful. Breakfast at cafe/restaurant near by was exceptional, staff were amazing........ and last but not least the host/owner Giampiero was very kind, and could not do enough for us to make sure our stay was one to remember. We were treated like royalty. I highly recommend this option for your Florence stay. We will definitely stay here again

Could hear some of the street noise.

Excellent location. Central to numerous sights. Very helpful staff. Clean . comfortable bed. Enjoyed the breakfast at nearby cafe. Owner was very nice and even made sure we had some coffee and pastries for take out when we head to depart early on our last morning.

just minor things, maybe a shelf below the sink to hold toiletries or a larger shelf above the sink. Also, a photo of the door in the alley way to help find the location. The photo that Google Maps uses is wrong and confusing.

A minor detail but the hairdryer wasn't very powerful.

The central location within walking distance of the main attractions. The air-conditioning was a necessity as it was so humid.

I struggled to sleep the first night with the noise of the air conditioner however I think it was necessary, I'm sure it would have gotten too hot without, so not really a negative overall!

The contactless check-in process was seamless, the location perfect, and the breakfast divine with wonderful service and a gorgeous location. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There was one morning where there were workers in the street pumping for ages which woke us up. But this is no fault of the hotel.

The breakfast inclusion was delicious. The location was great - close to everything we wanted to do! The staff were so accommodating, and we were greeted by name. When we had an early morning tour the hotel offered to make us a take away breakfast. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

We had an amazing stay at BB Signoria. Centrally located to all points of interest. The breakfast from Cafe Paseo was delicious. Antonella was a wonderful hostess. Would not hesitate to stay here again when we come back to Florence.

Leaving, I didn't want to leave. This was the only thing I didn't like.

I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the check-in was seamless, and we felt warmly welcomed and cared for every single day of our stay. The staff are truly exceptional — friendly, attentive, and always ready with advice or assistance. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast and atmosphere at Café Perseo were a highlight of our entire two-week trip to Italy — the best food and most heartfelt service we experienced. I already miss the warm greetings every morning and the delicious breakfast that was included in our stay. Our room was spotless, beautifully air-conditioned, and situated right in the heart of Florence, making it easy to explore the city. With the guidance of the staff, we found our way around effortlessly and discovered wonderful local gems. We were genuinely sad to leave because this accommodation made our time in Florence so special. It felt like a home away from home, and we will most definitely return.

The staff was so helpful and accommodating. Having access to bfast at the cafe in the square was fantastic. The location was great and easy to walk to all of the various attractions we wanted to see. Spacious for our family of four.
