The owner was an exceptional host and very kind and friendly. She was happy to chat with me and was very patient when I practised speaking Italian... which I'm not very good at! The lady who greeted me was very kind too despite me being a lot later than expected (due to a medical emergency on the flight, there was a long delay). Breakfast was very nice too and there was plenty to choose from. The owner was very kind in providing coffee, orange juice, etc, etc. Plenty of choice of what to drink too. Room was very comfortable and shower was nice. Everywhere was immaculately clean. I slept well. Good mattress and nice bedding. Thank you for a lovely stay. I will definitely stay here again if I ever visit Genova again. P.S. Please say hello to your lovely sister too. I really enjoyed talking to her.

Nothing in particular except that I wanted to stay 2 nights but because of the train strike I had to cancel my first night, but there was no problem doing that.

The owner Tanya met me as I arrived to help with the luggage, as there are some stairs before you get to the lift. She was very welcomiing and helpful. She provided a generous breakfast including a piece of fruit for my trip. The furnishings were very attractive, especially the sitting/breakfast room decor and arrangement. The restaurant downstairs she mentioned was good for diinner. I would stay here again for sure!

Everything was perfect.

This hotel had everything we needed for our one night stay. It was extremely clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was quiet and restful. Irina, our host and hotel owner, made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. She knew it was an anniversary trip and she even had Italian cookies upon arrival. She deserves all the recognition in the world for her hospitality and her immense help with printing important travel documents and arranging our taxi. She even walked us down to the car to ensure we made it into the car alright. We still refer to her as our “travel angel” and we feel so lucky to have crossed paths with her. Thank you for everything, Irina! We would’ve been lost without you!!

A wonderful place with a view of the port from the window and close to public transport. A clean, well-maintained room. A good breakfast every day and a chat with the lady who takes care of the guests and the cleanliness of the place. I had an overnight flight, so there was no problem checking me in. I'm grateful to the other lady who checked me in and explained everything after midnight.

Breakfast was delicious, the room was spotless and comfortable. Place was lovely all around. The location is very close to one of Genoa's train stations, Principe, not Brignole, but that's more convenient for trains from Milan. When arriving, make sure to take a right when leaving the station (it's very confusing on Google maps), otherwise you'll find yourself blocked by train tracks. It's a short walk down a kind of ugly avenue, but don't let that put you off - the hotel itself is wonderful.

We knew the lift was only from the 1st floor but had alot of luggage so this was difficult in the heat.

We were very well taken care of and the host made is feel exceptionally welcome. The room was beautiful.

It’s a wonderful B&B near train station. Really very close, if you choose the right exit. You need to use side exit, via parking and metro station. If you choose the main exit, your way will be much longer (as was mine). I had a perfect port view. Very comfortable bed. Even though I booked a single room, I had a normal twin very comfortable bed. There were also orthopedic pillows. I liked a lot the main room with an old painted ceiling. B&B is extremely clean and well-kept. Everything is new and in very good condition. Good breakfast. Very nice, helpful and communicative owner. Thank you very much, I appreciate a lot of your hospitality and support.

Maybe a little bit more information about how to get into the place but this was totally alleviated by the lady who runs the place being there, coming down and helping us with our suitcases and letting us in early

The lady who runs the place was wonderful. Close to the railway station for us, 10 minutes walk at most. We had a harbour view room which was great. Very clean, comfortable bed and a great shower. We walked approximately 1.5 km into the heart of the old city but there is a metro/bus stop near by. Breakfast was more than acceptable

The noise from the road and railway but I like fresh air so when you close the windows it is quiet. Just my personal choice. (Air conditioner is available)

The property is clean and very neat. It’s a private bedroom with en suite and air conditioner. The kitchen/dining/living area is shared or communal. We stayed 2 nights and it was great as a base. It’s near the station and a few steps from the bus stop. We used the train so for us it was convenient. It is on a busy road and the trains are behind the building. It can get noisy especially if you like the windows open for fresh air. The hostesses were be friendly and helpful and made a lovely breakfast for us. Grazie ♥️

The location is remote, particularly if you are going to access or go out at night. However, it has a beautiful view of the harbor.

Despite being in an old building, the interior has been renovated and is very new. The room was very good, the staff were very helpful and friendly and everything was very clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast!

Couldn’t have wished for anything else.

Very nice breakfast — the usual croissant, coffee etc but also some excellent onion tart that looked and tasted home made. You can make tea at any time. This place is convenient for both ferry and train. It is on the third floor, but there is a lift so no problem. The staff are very nice (they speak Russian as well as Italian). A quiet, immaculate room, with all necessary supplies. We’d very happily stay there again.

The room is large and clean, with a good-sized bathroom. The breakfast is very good and with a lot of choice. Our hostess was very friendly and attentive (again, thank you for your welcome). You are at 10 mn walk to the Genova Principe Stazion and near the historical centre of Genova I truly recommand this hotel

Really nothing to improve. Everything was great. I enjoyed my stay.

The place is spotlessly clean, the hostess is helpful in any issue that might arise. One can have a cup of tea in the common (kitchen) area of the apartment even in the evening. The breakfast was very tasty and sufficient. The location is great: very close of one of the city train stations and the port. I would gladly recommend this mini-hotel to any kind of traveler.
