Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The location is perfect. You have laundry, restaurants, and tram stop nearby. The house is clean.

CanadaThe kitchen lacks a microwave so if you do cook something, take care not to make big portions unless you're OK with the hassle of reheating leftovers with the stove or oven. There's also no washing machine but there are two coin laundromats 5-10 minutes away on foot. It'll take about an hour to wash and dry your clothes for €10 when you do it yourself there. If you have unused ingredients after cooking or baking that you still plan to use, leave them in the kitchen cabinets with a note in Italian indicating that you'll use them up or just keep them in your bedroom. Otherwise, the cleaning staff may remove them when it comes in every couple of days to clean the kitchen and other common areas. It's not clear in the property's description but you should get a code for a lockbox via email before your arrival. If you don't then you'll then need to call the owner right before your arrival to get the code so for the lockbox that will contain your keys. There's air conditioning but I suspect that it runs only when the interior temperature consistently exceeds 26ºC. It didn't operate during my stay in May even though the weather was already warm and humid. The apartment was often quite warm inside (~ 25ºC).
It's a spacious apartment that's been converted for use by short-term travelers. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms so you usually won't have a problem with waiting to use the toilet or take a shower when you sharing the space with other people. The staff is friendly and helpful but usually off-site. Their English isn't very advanced so do be patient with them if you need to talk to them but don't know Italian. It's 10 minutes' walking distance from Santa Maria Novella (main train station) and 25 minutes away on foot from il Duomo (cathedral in the middle of downtown). There are decent Italian and Turkish restaurants next door and a Carrefour grocery store 5 minutes away on foot. It's easy enough to prepare a simple meal for yourself in the almost-fully-furnished kitchen if you don't feel like eating out.

United KingdomAs it was self check in and the owner wasn’t home, it was difficult to understand the entry instructions which were sent via email (I had no access to internet at this point). Also, the instructions were in Italian.
The artment was lovely, very nicely decorated. There were 2 shower rooms too which was handy. There is a little outside area, and although no view, it was nice to sit out for a bit of fresh air. I had the triple room so the room was a good size.
