Loved the location on the edge of the old town. Ruggiero was an excellent host, welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to the room at a prearranged time.

Not a huge room but very well designed and very comfortable. There are very steep stairs to get to the room but the help with the suitcases by just was a huge help.

Excellent location in the historic town close to all the sites and short walk from the train station. The delivered breakfast to the room was excellent.

We stayed in Ruggiero's property for about 6 night in lateAugust. Everything was a dream. He met us to ensure easy access and the apartment is in a great, walk to everything area. The accommodations were lovely but by far the most memorable part of our stay was the amount of time, energy and love Ruggiero put into our stay. The breakfast he made was amazing every morning and he constantly went out of his way to provide recommendations and help with translations/reservations/phone calls. We would return in a heart beat. Thank you!

Our room was large and beautifully finished. It was close to both the old town and the newer shopping street. There were plenty of options for food, bars and soaking up the atmosphere. Our host went out of his way to make sure we saw the best that Bari had to offer. He had lists of his favourite places to visit ready to share with us. He made himself available to help with our bags both when we arrived and when we left, which was welcome as the rooms are up two flights of stairs, and also booked and also booked a taxi for us when we left. We really enjoyed our stay here.

The property is wonderful. Perfect location close to everything; sights, attractions, waterfront and wonderful restaurants. The host, Ruggiero, could not have done more to welcome us and help on every way possible. Our room was beautiful, spacious and so comfortable. Daily breakfast with local foods was a treat and we will miss having it delivered to our room.

Everything. Wonderful communication with host prior to arriving and during stay. Fabulous location, beautiful accommodation, very comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast was amazing and I loved the presentation. Host assisted us with bags up to unit on 2nd floor (no lift) and also assisted us with bags when we left. Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely return.

The apartment looked brand new. Quality Italian style throughout. Excellent location on the edge of the old city so close to the old and newer parts. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and of the best quality fruits, yoghurt and pastries. Also great coffee. Our host handled our luggage up and down stairs and organised our taxi to the airport. Everything flowed. Also on arrival we were sent a digital directory of places to visit and restaurants.

We were completely satisfied.

Casa Calamondino was an excellent place to stay in Bari. The location was perfect - in the historic centre but not too far from a taxi drop, convenient to all the attractions of old town and also to a prommenad along the water. In addition the room was quiet, notwithstanding being near evening destinations. Close to everything you would want! The room itself was spacious and attractive with good natural light. Breakfast was served in room with a choice of sweet or savoury and a nice pot of coffee on request :) This accommodation also offers the personal touch. The host Ruggiero was helpful from the very start. He was able to accommodate a slightly early arrival, was waiting for us on arrival and helped with the bags, offered great suggestions for restaurants etc , helped us with dinner reservations and assisted with a taxi and our bags on departure - very kind and personable! We took his suggestions for dinner restaurants and were very happy with an authentic experience in restaurants frequented by locals. A great experience. Also don't miss the recommended paninis at the Salumeria and Gelateria - really the best we had in Italy!

There is nothing to not like about the property a beautiful apartment ! If we came back we would definitely stay there again maybe 🤔 we would visit mid week as the weekends in Bari are very busy at night .

The location is great if you want to be in the centre of Bari. The apartment is immaculate and very well designed and beautiful interior 😉! Ruggiero our host was an amazing couldn’t be more helpful from organising taxis, giving us many recommendations on places to visit eat and drink! It’s a steep climb to the apartment, but the host makes sure to help you out with the luggage, so, it’s hardly an issue, unless one has mobility issues.

I think the most important thing about this property is the host Ruggiero, who really went out of his way to help me out in every possible way! From helping me with the luggage at the most unearthly hours to making sure I had the best recommendations for everything to enjoy my stay, Ruggiero is an exceptional host.

The location was perfect, within walking distance to both the old town and Murat. Our host was very helpful with sending us many suggestings of restaurants, cafés and other tips. He also arranged a parking slot for our rented car in a nearby garage that was just around the corner.

Not necessarily bad, but simple fact is that it can be a bit noissy until late night for sensitive sleepers, due to its central location near cafes & restaurants, also the stairs may be a bit steep, but only if you have mobility issues of any reason.

Everything is as described, spotless clean, great mattress, new furniture, located right in the center of the old town, very polite and helpful host.

Everything was perfect!! No complaints at all. We’ve been to over thirty European cities and the Casa Calamondino was among the top three accommodations. Ruggiero was a wonderful host. He made us feel like family.

Ruggiero’s property is wonderfully furnished and decorated. It is in a great location just inside the “old town,” but also close to great shopping and restaurants.
