Kind and helpful staff. Staff go above and beyond, Sanna picked us up from the ferry terminal, helped with our bags, and was very kind. As indicated in the website, it's a bit further up the hill from the centre (15-18 min walk). It was easy to walk to town downhill but uphill going back is harder. Fortuntely they offer pickup from train/ferry/bus station. In addition, the property owners can do evening pickups from the town centre for EUR10 per ride. We planned our excursions to end with dinner in Sorrento and then would take a ride back and it worked out perfectly. You could also rent electric bikes or a Vespa! Even with paying for the ride it was far cheaper than other options in town.

Very comfortable, spacious, quiet and clean. We stayed in a 2 bedroom with its own cute little blacony and kitchenette. It felt much more modern than so many others places you see in Italy! The owners are very kind and helpful and doing great things to help the community. This guest house is partly how they are able to give back.

We met Mario and Senna ! simply wonderful and very helpfull ! Mario helped us with a pick up from the main Pizza on check in day ! We were in contact also from before, to help us with our trip. We fully reccomend their place. For sure we will return !

Big and comfortable room with all the facilities you need for your stay including kitchen utensils, stove, coffee machine, kettle, microwave, hairdryer, iron, etc. The room size is very big and have enough storage space. There is also AC that helps to cool down the room and ensures comfortable sleep during the summer heat. Nice balcony was a good place for breakfasts and evening drinks. The location is great, 15 minutes walking to the old city. The path is a bit hilly, so it takes a bit longer to return as you go uphill but still manageable. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The arranged a pick up for us from the bus station and gave us good recommendations about Sorrento. They also shared options for boat tours and I highly recommend taking a boat tour to Capri. It was amazing for affordable price. It might be a noisy during early night and morning as it is close to the road and many motorbikes go there very fast. So you can hear them driving, but earplugs works well and are provided by hosts. So, it solved the issue. Also the mattress was a bit lumpy and uneven on one side but it is more of comfort taste. So, overall our stay was awesome there.

We had an amazing stay, from the moment we booked the communication from Mario was awesome. He met as at the train station and carried our bags up the hill and check in was very smooth. Mario was available our whole stay and arranged a boat tour for us along with a transfer to the station on check out day. Our room was great and had everything we needed, it was a great base for us. We would stay here again if we returned to Sorrento.

We loved staying at Casa d’amare!! It was such great value for our group of three friends. So clean, comfortable and the loft room (Sea View) was great for us to have separate spaces. The aircon in summer was most welcomed!! Amazing facilities and only an easy 10 min walk to town. Highly recommend! Better to be away from the crowds and this is a little gem and great value. Also - Found a great pizza restaurant close by also…

Mario & Sanna were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, from the initial contact through to check-in, to any questions we had, even a lift to town was no problem. The room was modern, spacious, and clean, exceeding our expectations. The neighbourhood is quiet and charming, however, we do recommend renting a small car or scooter/vespa to avoid the trek up the hill. All in all, we would recommend Casa D'amare to anyone! Very nice room, quite spacious, pleasant location in an area above town with a small terrace to enjoy morning coffee. A 15 minute walk into town, a steep incline on return takes a bit longer!

Sofa bed wasn’t so good but acceptable for 2 nights stay

Our host Mario was fantastic giving us an excellent support, flexible check in, boat tour booking, drivers, luggage storage. We couldn’t ask for a better host !! Thank you so much. The house was good, comfortable and clean. It was almost on country side, 15 min walking distance from centre. 10 min by taxi no worries.

We stayed here for 3 nights with our parents and had a fantastic experience. The hosts were amazing — they even picked us up from Sorrento station, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The rooms were spotless, with clean beds, fresh linens, and a well-maintained bathroom. The hosts took the time to explain everything about the locality and were always available by phone to assist with any questions or issues. The location is excellent, very close to Sorrento city center, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!
