The bathroom had a less appealing look and it had some mold damage to the ceiling. The water pressure was also not great.

The location was perfect for us, really close to a bus stop and perfect for walking around, following the greenway or just exploring. The view was beautiful, facing the lake. We were there in early October and got a lot of rain, but the room was nice and heated up when we returned in the evening.

When we arrived, no one was there, but fortunately the staff kept the room open and we could come inside on our own.

We were hiking from San Fedele Intelvi to Ossuccio for five and a half hours and were very tired. We were so glad to come to such a clean and pleasant room, with such a lovely view on lake Como.

We really enjoyed our stay as it was our rest day between travels .We could totally relax and the view of the mouintains and water contributed much to this.We received a super friendly welcome from Sandra.The flatlet was clean,with fresh linen and a pleasant fragrance.The snacks was a welcome treat and much appreciated.We are very pleased with the choice we made.

There was a small delay with the check-in but the host was very nice and upgraded us to a room with a better view and was very pleasant overall

The location is great, it's very close to Lido di Ossuccio where you can swim and there is a great restaurant right on the lake. If you go to Lenno you can easily get the mid-lake ferry. There is also a public free parking in case you come by car. The view is the best thing about this room. Inside is quite basic but comfy. Some trims and the bathroom fell quite dated but for the money in this location it's overall great.

For the price you pay (over 100€ per night in August) the facilities are bad. No air conditioning, no bidet in the bathroom, the water comes out only super hot, there were many hair in the sink (not good enough cleaning and care) so the water in the sink was getting stuck, only few electrical outlets, the towels are probably cleaned at too low temperature because they stink when wet. In general the structure is old and not renewed for a more comfortable stay. I give 7/10 but only because of the view that was 10/10. The structure itself is a 4 for the price

Could invest in some newer towels. But that's just me being picky.

Such a gorgeous view out the windows and from the small balcony. I found Ossuccio enchanting. Easy walk to the lake/lido. The check-in staff member was friendly and helpful. Loved having a fan in the room.

Lock on door not functioning, but felt very low theft risk/ low crime area. Jason on property, aware of issue and repair pending. Bugs in ceiling light fixture.

The bin man and his truck collecting the rubbish at midnight and 3 am!!!!!!!!!! The bin collection point was outside the window of our room!!! Every night! Locals not giving any thought to the noise they were giving off also didn’t help. Not a great place to get sleep to enjoy a trip!! . I never read the reviews becos the review stars were high but I suspect you have complaints about this. So won’t be able to stay again.

The room door took two people to open and close due to the lock being unfortunately placed but that was just our room.

Incredible location with lake view and closeby many attractions and public transport options. Ossuccio and Lenno are also very cute towns with all you need, as a tourist, to offer. Liz was also incredibvly accomodating to our special requests and was always trying to make sure that other guests also adhere to the rules to make for a comofrtable stay for all, without being intrusive or rude.

Casa del sole was a wonderful surprise. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful with ideas and directions. Our room was very clean and comfortable with an outstanding view over the lake. Yes there is a hill to reach the location but it was not a problem for us and the reward is the views. I would definitely recommend Casa del sole to friends and fellow travellers.
