This did not affect my stay at all but a few minor points: The shower looked like there had been a little wear and tear and could do with updating/a deep clean. Check in stated 2.30pm, we arrived at 2.25pm to see if the key was in the box already as it was self check in, which it was and we let ourselves in. When we walked in, the room was still being cleaned and we were informed to come back in 20-30 mins. This was fine, however perhaps look at amending the check in time if this happens regularly as you will have some guests like us arrive exactly at check in time and being turned away.

The accommodation is very central but the room is so quiet, you could not hear the street noise at all. Rossella was very responsive when we asked about a fan and if she had any taxi company recommendations we could use on the day we left to go to the airport. The room is spacious with lots of amenities. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay.

Casa Salbego was the perfect place for our stay in Bologna. It’s a beautiful space, nicely furnished, very comfortable bedding. We loved the location within walking distance to everything but just out of the tourist area. Our host was friendly and responsive for our questions. We felt it was great value for price. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, very central yet not noisy at night. Walkable to the train station and the centre, lots of restaurants nearby. Luggage storage right next door. The included breakfast voucher for a nearby cafe was a great inclusion. Highly recommend!

Access to an elevator for our luggage, but it was only one floor.. Shower and Bathroom was very nice and modern.

Breakfast was with a voucher for a fantastic coffee shop around the corner. The location was in the middle of a active area, lots to see and ten minute stroll to the very center of the city… Simply fabulous !

Wonderful, comfortable room and bathroom in a superb location. Easily accessible to the train station and the major sites of Bologna. Area is also full of good restaurants, nice shops and a grocery store. Italian breakfast (coffee and croissant) is close by in a popular and delicious pastry shop. Highly recommend!

A wonderful stay, very clean and comfortable and close to all Bologna has to offer. Breakfast was served in your room, homemade by owner and delivered on a little trolley. Very secure building so we felt very safe and also a luggage lift! We loved our stay !

Everything was perfect! Not only the location (a 10 minute easy walk from the piazza maggiore), but also the room and bathroom, which were really spacious and equiped with everything you could need. But, the best of all was by far the breakfast, with plenty of choices and all home made. It was an absolute pleasure to feel like at home and spend two days in casa Salbego. If we go back to Bologna in the future we wouldn’t consider any other place to stay in.

It was a supper stay. We felt as we were at home with grandmother. The owner so kind and helped us with everything. The apartment in the typical old building, with high ceiling... and after recontruction with modern restroom. Apartment is clean. Location is supper. It is middle between train station and city center. We can walk everywhere.
