Great location, about a 6 min way to Santa Maria Novella train station. Right across San Lorenzo central market so nice food choices during the day! The hosts were there to meet us and they were both exceptionally welcoming. They helped us with our bags which were very heavy and explained things and gave us ideas and places to eat and visit. The building has an amazing terrace where you can see a beautiful view of Florence and even the Duomo. We relaxed up there all nights of our stay with a bottle of wine. The room was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed. Love it and would stay there again!

The host Hugo and his wife were absolutely delightful, they made us feel so welcome. The room was beautiful, very pretty with thought going into all the conveniences. The rooftop area was a highlight, overlooking the Duomo and Florence, just stunning.

The room was quite small however with some rearranging of furniture we were able to comfortably access our luggage.

We enjoyed the location as it was only a 3 minute walk to the Duomo and had many markets and shops right at our doorstep. Our host Gabriella was very helpful and responsive to anything we needed, giving great recommendations for places to see and eat. The room has aircon and the mini fridge had cold water. Daily room cleaning was not included but Gabriella was great in providing fresh bathroom towels when needed.

Exceptional service, location, very clean and comfortable. Located above the street market. However, it was quiet. Everything was perfect besides the guests in the next room were very noisy. However, this is not a reflection of our stay. Would recommend to friends and family.

An ideal location close to both train station and main attractions. A very nice roof terrace with wonderful views across the city. Excellent communication from the owner. Very comfortable with good amenities. It is located on the third floor of a building with no lift so worth considering for anyone with mobility issues.

The host was amazing! Next to that, the location is perfect right jn front of the Mercato Centrale. On top of that, there was an amazing rooftop. We highly recommend going here!

This hotel is wonderful! Very kind hosts who met us personally and showed us around and oriented us to our room and our location. (Also, we missed our flight connection and were about 6 hours delayed - they very kindly accommodated our later than expected arrival.) The room was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The bed, bathroom and linens were exceptionally clean. And the view from the balcony in the evening is absolutely stunning. We were also able to leave our luggage on our last day before we caught our train, which was a huge help. We would stay here again!

Located on third floor, no lift, only steep stairs! It was quite difficult to carry our luggage up and down. However, if you arrive or leave after 10 a.m., it will not be a problem since the staffs are willing to give you a hand.

There were 65 stone steps to climb to the entrance and although not really a problem for us it was a little difficult with heavy luggage

The accommodation is up 60 + stairs without a lift so might not be suitable for everyone - but its an ancient building and you only have to carry your luggage up once. And, if it wasn't up a height there would be no view worth looking at from the roof terrace so its well worth the climb if you're fit enough.

This property was in a superb location for access to the main line railway station, tram system and tourist attractions. It was very easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go during our stay. The room was spotlessly clean with a superb air conditioning system (and in temperatures of 35-38 degrees that was very much appreciated!) and the roof terrace was a lovely space for breakfast in the mornings and a drink in the evening. when it was (theoretically!) a bit cooler. Fabulous and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

As many noted, this is on the 3rd floor, so if you have trouble walking up the stairs or have tons of heavy luggage, that might be a problem. We travelled light and had no problem walking up the stairs so it felt like we got a deal!

Fantastic location in center of Firenze, walking section, close stroll to Duomo, Uffizi, Galleria dell’ Accademia, Ponte Vecchio, and the train station, all the restaurants and cafes. Amazing rooftop terrace with the view of the city, great during the day and beautifully set up to enjoy the evenings. We came in early in the day and Ugo was extremely communicative and helpful, letting us leave the luggage immediately so we can go for breakfast, coming back for early check-in so we can enjoy the whole first day in the city. Ugo also shared with us several great restaurants, gelaterias, and places with a great view of the Firenze skyline. We managed to try many and they were all fantastic recommendations. The place was extremely clean and had all the modern amenities you need, plus the charm of living in the old city.

There is no elevator, so it could be difficult to get your luggage on the 3rd floor.

Our stay at Central View Boutique was really enjoyable! Very comfortable and beautiful apartment, there was all we need. And the view from the roof was so beautiful. Can’t wait to visit this beautiful place again!

You can't leave the aircon running if you take the keys so it takes a few minutes to cool the room when you get back. I would like to see a more robust fire escape plan but I guess that's common in many old Florentine buildings. Be prepared for a lot of stairs!

We were welcomed by Ugo who couldn't have been more helpful. The rooftop terrace was an unexpected delight. The room was cosy but well equipped and the shower was great. Really good location close to all the main attractions but surprisingly quiet.
