How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The window was facing a busy street with bars, so it was extremely loud during the night. The accomodation did provide earplugs, which was nice

Bed wasn't super comfortable and the room was slightly smaller than expected. Would have been great to have a fridge and jug. No body wash in shower or tissues in the room. But all minor things - otherwise a great stay!
Amazing location just down the road from the Duomo. Great value for money. Staff very responsive and easy check in instructions.

The bathroom did not have a pleasant smell. There was also mould marks on the ceiling
The location is really really good. The duomo is on the locations door step.

Had to check every apartment in the block before we found ours (never received apartment number) toilet blocked on a couple of occasions but was fixed on request! Street noise was loud until about 4am. Needs new pillows (still got neck ache!) and a kettle for a morning coffee.
Beautiful apartment, modern, his and hers rainfall shower and very clean. Impressive apartment and great tv! Great location (except the noise) if you’re a light sleeper take ear plugs!

Because it is too good location, close to the duomo which is the busy area, sometimes people on the street was bit noisy and hard to sleep. But again the location is really good.
Very clean and close to the main sightseeing area. It was easy to check in and out.

We think that it would be much better with one normal chair, and with nightstands and chest of drawers that have shelves or drawers. It’s hard to keep things tidy when everything is in an open space.
It’s clean and the stuff is great. Location was amazing.

The bed is slightly unusual - it's suspended from the ceiling and you can lower it via a switch on the wall. There was not an issue with comfort, however if you'd like to watch TV the belts which suspend the bed get in the way. There was no kitchen or common area where we could hang out other than the room itself.
Location was great and we really enjoyed getting to explore the city on foot. There was an AC unit in the room to control the temperature, and the neighbourhood was quite quiet at night. We appreciated that the bathroom was private, and there was direct access to it from our room. We also liked that we could leave our bags before check-in and the overall cleanliness level was immaculate. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay - would recommend it.

It did not fully disturb us, but the room/doors are not very soundproof.
Enis the manager was very helpful and super kind! Great location and very comfortable and safe check-in. For sure would recommend.

I don’t mind noise but you could hear the voices coming from the outside all the time but considering the location its normal. The bathroom was okay but there were ants and it had a smell. Instead of a giant tv, it would have been nice to have a kettle, water and some teas or coffee.
The location of the place is really good, it is really close to Duomo and many other landmarks. Check-in and communication was easy. Room was okay.

I only wish we had a kettle/coffee machine in the room
Modern, clean, private and bed was very comfortable! The WiFi was very good and having Netflix was even better. Enis and staff were speedy and extremely helpful when we had questions or needed anything. Great accommodation that was central to a lot in the city which made our trip to Florence so much better.

I would prefer if there were shampoo and body wash.
The location was very good, a 20 minute walk to the train station and 10 minute walk to the main sightseeing. The check in and out was very convenient and quick, as it was automated. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room is clean and comfortable, also the window can be opened to get some fresh air. The location also good. Walking distance with main spots. The host is very nice too.

Air conditioner doesn’t work. We have problems with checking in. Check-in took longer than we planned, we had to wait a long time, but nothing too stressful

The room had just undergone renovations so needs a few more touch ups - hooks on doors, sealant on the shower, curtains.
Loved Iman - she was so friendly and hospitable. Love the location and the bed was comfy. They surprise us as they had just done renovations so we had a private bathroom which was a nice surprise! There was also an aircon!
