Giuseppe and Mery are fantastic, such friendly and welcoming hosts (not to forget Vasco - the beautiful old dog). There couldn't have done anything more to make our stay better. The whole experience was exceptional and would recommend Corallo House to anyone hiring a car, as a base to explore Puglia.

We stayed seven nights at Corallo House, which is a very pleasant self-catering holiday accommodation near to Polignano a Mare in Puglia. Although it is situated a few miles inland near Triggianello, we had received good instructions to find the property and located it easily. We had a comfortable superior double room and made good use of the swimming pool during our stay. Both the water and the surrounds are kept very clean. And, with only four rooms at the property, there was always plenty of space, and we often had the area to ourselves. Giuseppe, Mary and Vasco, their lovely, big and friendly dog, are excellent hosts. Giuseppe looks after the front of house very congenially, preparing the breakfasts (he made very good scrambled eggs one morning and great focaccia with vegetables twice which he gave us to take away for lunch) and dispensing his local knowledge on places to visit and where to eat. Meanwhile, Mary makes sure everything is kept working and clean around the property. In summary, Corallo House is a relaxing place to stay and we would very much recommend it as a great base for the area around Polignano.

Giuseppe and Mary were the best. This place is perfectly located for many of the local attractions. The house is very quiet and a perfect way to unwind. Giuseppe is an amazing host who will help with any local food recommendations, site seeing and makes a great coffee. Cant recommend enough

NOTHING!

The hosts , Giuseppe and Mary were so kind and just wanted to assist in anyway they can. Whether it was to recommend places to visit, places to eat at, or even provided us with an umbrella for the beach , which really they didn’t have too. The first place in Italy that everything and I repeat everything was sparkling clean . Mary is a clean freak in every way possible and we appreciate it. From the pool , hot tub , too the floors in our room. Thankyou both for being the way service in hospitality is meant to be .

We loved our stay at this beautiful property with stunning gardens, old olive trees and a lovely pool and hot tub area. The owner/host’s grandparents once lived here and grew olives and their original farmhouse has been renovated to a high standard. It retains beautiful original features but is modern and very comfortable. The hosts Guiseppe and Mary were wonderful and very helpful with local knowledge. Breakfast on the terrace was delicious and included fresh local fruit and locally made pastries. Very well situated for visiting beaches, historic villages and other local attractions. We highly recommend this little slice of paradise.

We loved using the swimming pool after a hot day sightseeing, lovely breakfast each morning, very hospitable hosts, Giuseppe gave us lots of advice on local area.

Guiseppe is a very friendly and helpful host. He makes a wonderful breakfast and always makes sure everything is according to your wishes. The room is clean, the pool has a perfect temperature and the coffee is great!

Beautiful place to stay. Giuseppe is a welcoming host. Breakfast served in a room overlooking the gorgeous property. Giuseppe offered to make eggs, but we were satisfied with the other options, which included pastry and yogurt. We appreciated the style and decor of the bedroom. We wish that it had been warm enough to swim in the immaculately maintained pool. Meeting Bosco, Giuseppe's dog, was an added bonus! We would love to return with more family for a longer stay.

Giuseppe and his wife Mary were great hosts! Friendly, giving tips, always able to help… Before we arrived, Giuseppe send us the location and was very easy to contact via whatsapp. When we arrived, he explained us everything, handed us the keys and showed us to our room. Every morning there were fresh fruits and eggs from his own garden or from the farmer nearby (he picked up the eggs & fruit every morning before breakfast!!). The rooms were very clean and since we stayed for a week, the towels were changed in the middle of the week and the room was cleaned (we did not ask this, they just did it which was great!). The pool, the dining place… everything was super clean. The first night we got a parking fine from the police and didn’t know how to pay it, Giuseppe explained us who and where to go to (post office) and offered to fill in the form with us. The location is easy accessible by car and is ideal to travel all the surrounding villages, beaches and tourist places. Giuseppe also gave tips on non-tourist activities which was great! Towels, sheets, closet,… is available. Kitchen is shared with other guest but everything is available. Great shower! There are also a couple of restaurants in the neighbourhood for a night out if you don’t want to cook. Wifi in the room was not great but also not necessary - wifi everywhere else (pool, kitchen…) was working perfect. Big parking lot available. An awesome dog Vasgo comes and greets you as well! We had a great holiday and we will definitely come back if we’re travelling again in Italy and we could only recommend Giuseppe & Mary’s place!

Corallo house is very well located,aprox 15 minutes by car to Polignano, 10-15 min to Monopoli. The hosts, Giuseppe and Maria are two wondeful and kind people always willing to help. The garden is beautiful and the pool is very clean. You can enjoy the fresh air and quietness of the area. At Corallo House you have the chance to live an authentic italian experience. The breakfast is very good. Last but not least,old Basco, is such an adorable and friendly dog.

The pictures do not give you the best impression, it’s a lot better in real terms. It is peaceful and relaxing, spotlessly clean and the hosts are so accommodating and helpful.

We did have problems finding the location of this remote vacation home (used every possible device and app). There should be some signs or directing arrows on the roads that guide to the location.
