Problem began when we came back at 2pm ringing the intercom outside there was no answer. We also had another young man wanting to check in but he was having same problem. We never got in till 3pm by the time owner answered our calls and he said we were suppose to call when we got there that they give us a code. The young man my husband and I checked our paper work to our booking and there was nothing to say we had to call when we got there. We would have gone else where but they had our luggage. If it was just us we would think we did something wrong but the young man was also angry as he had lost a lot of time out of his day. The owner was in the wrong not that he would admit it.

Location good, Room was good clean and comfortable. We arrived early and check in was 2pm after a bit of talking owner told cleaning lady to let us in and leave our luggage which was good.

The desk was sticky. The bed was comfortable and my partner pillow, too. My bed was comfortable, but my pillow was really old and too high, which caused me neck pain and uncomfortable sleeping.

The place is a 2-minute walk from Reggio Central station. The room is spacious and overall clean. There is a lovely communal area.

The location ist perfect less then 10 Minutes to the beach 2 Minutes to the central station and there are alot of restaurants Marks nearbei everything is reached by walking.

No personal contact with the owner and somewhat aggressive list of rules feels unwelcoming and creates a poor atmosphere.The location is great for the train station . The room is ok but the toilet seat was loose and the shower head was not properly fixed to the wall. The bed was hard and uncomfortable and the WiFi doesn't work. Overall it was ok for a night if you are traveling by train.

The single room I stayed, has a small window for fresh air, direct at the entrance of the B&B, where there is a light all the night. The window is high up, so nothing to see, but it could be annoying. For me it was fine, since I only stayed one night.

I didn’t like the communication with the owner. I arrived late at night, around 1 am, and as the owner requested that when I arrive I call a phone number in order to self check in. However, when I arrived I called the number literally more than 40 times and it was simply off, it didn’t catch my calls, luckily I found another number here on booking and called it also almost 20 times for almost 1 hour straight and it rang, but no one answered, then the owner contacted me per WhatsApp with a very impolite and unprofessional attitude blaming me for arriving this late and then gave me the code which is simply 5 digits. That was so disturbing after a hectic day and flight delay and standing for one hour straight in the street waiting the owner to answer. After giving me the code I had few questions about the wifi password and the key (because it didn’t lock the door easily) but the owner simply shut off his WhatsApp and answered me the next day, leaving my concerns unanswered. Like Wth?!

I like the property location, perfect, central, the train station is directly under the property, the beach is almost 5 minutes walk away from the room, the shops are directly below as well, you can find many nice cafés, fast food restaurants and clothing shops near the room. The location is top. The room is clean and suitable for solo traveler. The air conditioning also works just as perfect as needed.

The big problem was getting in touch with the owner, it was very difficult, we needed to get in touch with the booking and we asked for help but no answers about the booking either. We were almost giving up, we had contact with one person and that person changed to another person and finally we had the information to get into the room. In the and we fixed but was very difficult contact.

I was a bit concerned given so many negative reviews, which caught my attention only after I booked the place, and I made a mental note to myself to be more alert to certain stuff next time when booking. Dirtyness, safety issues and noise are the deal breakers for me. The owner was responsive only to my call, not really to my messages about my arrival. The building itself is outdated and needs more than just superficial cover-ups. My room size didn't bother me as much as did the fact that I had to be very resourceful on how to dry my clothes - no hangers outside from the window. Electricity plug-ins look like a serious safety hazard, too. The bathroom is basically just a part of the room, separated by a plaster wall and with a subsequently inserted boiler and sink. That's probably why the room doesn't have a bidet. The first night I slept like a baby, but on the 2nd night a loud group of people woke me up twice between midnight and 2 am. Earplugs are a sleep saver. Otherwise, the place was rather quiet during a short afternoon nap. The common area had a small fridge, two couches and a table. No kitchen utensils at all, so storing any food for at least a decent breakfast was not an option. If you need just a place to crash for one night, it will do. I do not recommend it though for longer stays because it lacks some substantial amenities for a more comfortable stay.

The best thing is that it's just across the square Garibaldi, where the central train station is. There is a direct connection with the airport by bus No. 27/28 from there, too. Just across the square, there's the LeFolies pasticceria for a delicious breakfast. The room was clean, and the aircon and TV worked fine. There are a few vending machines down the stairs and just behind the corner with beverages, snacks and coffee.
