We had an amazing stay at Gianluca home during our vacation in Catania. The location is ideal-right in the heart of the old town, with everything just a short walk away. The room and the bathroom were spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable. It's clear that the owner, Gianluca, pays great attention to detail, which really made the experience feel special. He was also extremely friendly and welcoming, giving us great recomendation on what to visit and where to eat-tips that really helped us. Breakfast was another highlight:we had a great selection to choose from. So from start to finish, everything was perfect. We truly felt at home and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Catania!

The location is great for all those who want to be close to the city center (there are mainly all events, bars, cafes, restaurants, souvenirs), and you can also walk to the beach if you like to walk, and you have an option and transport. Nothing. Lift was great. Might be hard to find if driving.

The host was the best bit. Gianluca and Gina were great. Could not do enough to help us. Picked us up from the airport at nominal cost. Fresh fruit everyday. Super clean. Location was 50 metres from quiet restaurants and bars. 150 metres to elephant statue ., cathedral and castle. Wonderful and a pleasure to meet them.

I had an excellent experience at Gianluca’s place in Catania. The location is perfect, close to the center but still in a quiet area. The breakfast was a lovely surprise: very complete and varied, with ham, cheese, yogurt, fresh bread for toasting, fruit, coffee, everything nicely presented. Gianluca was kind and attentive from the very beginning, always available to help and offer great recommendations that made my stay even more enjoyable. I felt truly welcomed and would definitely recommend staying here.

There was a sewer smell in our bathroom during the stay, and the host mentioned experiencing the same issue in his own room. He explained that it might have been caused by temporary maintenance work.

Check-in was easy, and communication went smoothly. The host provided lots of helpful information about the area. The room looked exactly like the pictures—clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and had everything we needed. The shower had strong water pressure, which was especially refreshing after traveling in summer.The location is excellent—close to all the main attractions and restaurants. In the morning, we visited the famous fish market and watched how they cut and sell yellowfin tuna and sward fish, which was a unique and fascinating experience.

The bathroom is not in the room. It is private, but it is across the hall from the room, you have to go out through the common hallway to go to the bathroom.

The only thing that can be improved is the night it is very dark in the yard and in front of the elevator and it’s very easy to hear the other rooms. However this didn’t affect our stay

Luca's apartment is located in a residential area in the center of Catania, which has the characteristics of typical Sicilian housing. It is easy to walk to the market and shopping streets, bars and restaurants. Luca is a very friendly person. After we booked the apartment, he introduced us to the travel guide of Catania and provided us with a lot of useful travel information. He also provided airport pick-up and customized tours to surrounding cities such as Etna Volcano, Taormina, Siracusa and other towns. My brother and I participated in the tour led by him. The journey was very pleasant. We went to many places. This way of traveling is closer to the local culture and life atmosphere, which makes people feel comfortable. Luca's travel arrangements are very thoughtful! We were also lucky to eat the seafood he cooked! It made us unforgettable. This is the best seafood we have eaten in Sicily!

The key they gave me wasn’t working well and it was a bit of hassle to reach Gianluca but his father was very kind and he tried to help his best. The main entrance was really dark after the sunset, would have been good to put some light there.

The location of this property is really good because the food streets and Duomo is 2 mins from this. Gianluca was very helpful and responsive. I had a very comfortable stay. Packaged breakfast was provided and refilled, other issues that needed fixing also were taken care of as they occurred. I wish those were fixed already but overall it was okay

We are first time in Catania and we did not really know what to expect. But from first minute when we meet host Gianluca we feel like at home. He is so kind and friendly, want to help, spend a lot of time with us and we have the best time. We recommend for everyone to book this place and the rest will be only joy. Our stay at Gianluca Home has been undoubtedly one of the best stays we have ever had! Firstly the hosts were amazing people and made you feel exactly like you are at home.
