The name was deceptive, 'Guesthouse Lake's Vibes - The House Of Travelers'. This gives you the impression that there would be a person to receive you as a minimum. However, we had to check-in online. A long story short, there was a bit of trauma retrieving the key from the key box. However, in retrospect, I would book this accommodation again. Word to the wise: check-in when you receive the check-in email and make a note of the codes!

The bathroom was huge, with tall ceilings and tall windows. The location could not be more perfect, only a few minutes walk to the port, the funicular, bus stop and Como Lago train station. With restaurants all around and a Carrefour on the other side of the bus station. For a short stay in Como I would absolutely book the accommodation again.

The accommodation is very pleasant, with everything guests need. We received great communication about access to the facility, our room and bathroom were very big and clean. The location is excellent.

Not much. I would have loved a dish cloth to wipe up things but that's very minor. There is a smell that comes up through the drain in the shower that was awful and when it rains, the drain makes a terrible noise and water comes up through it.

Communication was excellent Location is excellent The room is exactly as described not big but does the job Very cosy but wish it had a chair or lounge chair to sit on It's very hard to get into but the instructions are great with a video and photos. Good iron and ironing board There is a street light right outside the window but you can close the shutters and it blocks that out. The air conditioner is very loud but there is a fan so used that instead. It's in a great area close to everything- Como Lago train station, ferry's, bus stops, restaurants/bar and the Funicular.

The property has parquetry floors which are in need of repair outside bathroom door. They are a safety hazard for which my wife tripped over and fell down. You need to repair this issue as soon as possible room 1.

Photos in booking.com are perhaps a little deceiving. The water view is an at angle if you stand at the window. We thought at first we had the wrong room but compared photos and realised the decor was the same. Don’t be put off it’s a great room in a terrific location but it’s important to know what you are paying for and it’s not an uninterrupted view to the water

The room is located above a bar/restaurant with very loud music and outdoor dining directly below. Expect noise until 2am. At 5am the garbage collection arrives and it gets noisy again with different collections (recycling etc). We were lucky to get more than 3 hours of sleep most nights. The shower in the bathroom will flood the bathroom and bedroom if put on full power. We had to roll up some towels to create a barrier for the water. We were only able to get Luke warm water from shower but we realised too late that turning the power down gave warmer water.

Very central and close to the lake with a Carre Four close by and coffee shops for morning pastries and coffee. Host was quick to respond to queries and requests.

The location, the spacious room and the large bathroom are all the things we liked. It was very clean. We enjoyed the coffee machine. We woke up everyday to singing birds. It was very nice. Our host was also good in communication and directions.

On the first night there was no hot water in the shower for about 10 minutes, the other day only had to wait about 2 minutes to get hot water. The shower window leaked water right in front of the toilet so you had to be careful not to step into it with socks.

Beautifully designed place with a huge bathroom. Perfect location to explore Como and go on boat tours.

Noisy neighborhood, trash removal comes every morning around 5AM, and makes so much noise specially while dumping empty bottles!

Excellent location! Right on lake, with nice view, and fantastic connections to best locations, train station, and bars/restaurants! Parking garage near location.

The apartment was lovely, very comfortable bed and well equipped with coffee machine. Plenty space and nice bathroom too. Location is ideal for a quick walk to restaurants, shops, and the ferries where you can purchase a day ticket to explore Lake Como. As two female travellers, the security made us feel a bit uneasy. We were woken at 1am by a loud ringing and noises outside of our door. The apartment door can be accessed by key code, and not just a physical key, which also made us concerned. We would have preferred to have the communal door locked.

Two things here: first the room was apparently very clean but under the bed was real mess (I look there cause an earing fell under it), they will take measures, I was told.

Three excellent things: location, service and the size. Location is just perfect! the size of the room also perfect! and we have a little technical issue that was solve the same day, service was also excellent.
