Exceptionally clean. The breakfast was amazing.The shower was large for EU standards.Quaint little town conveniently located to Gaeta sites and local hikes. Erasmo was the perfect host.

Il Fiore in una Stanza is a wonderful place to stay in this part of Italy. We spent two very comfortable quiet nights in the Rose room, which has a balcony and a view of the castle. The ample-size room has a tile floor (much cleaner than carpeted rooms). The large wardrobes with drawers and plenty of hangers are in the spacious entryway. Big comfortable bed with pillows that were more comfortable than most in Italy. Extra pillow was in the wardrobe. Clean, modern bathroom. Towels are changed every three days. There’s a towel warmer that heats up a few times a day. The room and bathroom are cleaned every day. The generous breakfast included cornetti, yogurt,and cakes and cookies baked daily by Erasmo’s charming, hospitable mother. The coffee is made to order (no DIY Nespresso!) and is excellent. Little touches such as real glasses (not flimsy plastic), fresh filtered water supplied daily in a carafe (though it’s safe to drink from the tap, too), flexible bedside lamps, and plenty of outlets were much appreciated. The internet worked well. Erasmo said that archeologists stay for weeks at a time. This is also a favorite B&B for pilgrims on the Via Francigena. This is to say that booking in advance is recommended. Erasmo speaks excellent English, and he had many recommendations for restaurants. We loved EASI Pizza, the best pizza I’ve eaten in years. It’s very informal; most people order take out. But there’s beer, etc., to drink inhouse. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. We are looking forward to a longer stay in this B&B again.

A beautiful room. Wonderful friendly helpful hosts. Our room had a sweeping balcony with views up to the old town castle. Great breakfast with homemade cakes and biscuits.

Outstanding stay at this clean, spacious and very comfortable property! Location is convenient and the hosts are exceptional — huge shout out to Erasmo who offered us a warm welcome and hot tea and cake when we arrived wet and chilled from a rainy days walk on the Via Francigena. Varied selection of breakfast filled us up as we set out the next day! Highly recommend!!

Il Fiore in una Stanza was the perfect location for me during this trip. It was in walking distance of the Comune, museum, Castle, and the main bus stop. The room was lovely and the breakfast area bright and cheery. Staff was kind, friendly, and very accommodating.

The host (son of the owner) was very nice, accommodating of several requests, had great English and was great to talk to. The breakfast was great as well. The place felt a lot like a B&B, in a good way.

My only wish was that I had an espresso maker in my room so I could have a delicious coffee anytime and hot water for tea. They did allow us to borrow a kettle for tea which was very kind but I would’ve enjoyed a cuppa in the afternoon on my balcony. There is a mini refrigerator which was convenient.

It was very clean and the staff were very kind and accommodating! The breakfast was good w/ lots of options. The location is great w/ a lovely view of the old castle.

I spent only one night there. When I wanted to book for another night, it's already fully booked. But sure I'll come back again if there's any opportunity. 🙃

- The staff! It's a family bussiness, so you feel quite like home. They are also so helpful! I had beautiful conversation after breakfast with the children (a young man and a young woman), got some information and I was really happy to talk to local people, getting information from their point of view. I always feel as a human being with a touch of kindness this family offered. Mother cooked delicious breakfast! I got 3 cups of Americano too! Since I came by walking with foot, father (and son) took a ride and dropped me in the station after check out. For free! The son was so good in giving detail informations, example: platform of the train, if I knew how to use vending machine for buying ticket, etc. What an hospitality! For a solo traveller who came from a very different culture it was such a heart warming experience visiting Italy. I felt relieved after visiting crowded cities. ☺️ - Location. I could see a castle from my room before I went to sleep and after I woke up in the morning. There are some hills around, beautiful! For people who don't like crowded places like big cities, Itri is a good option to take a rest before continuing the journey. - The room itself. Super clean! It had amenities more than I expected, like refrigerator, a terrace with view, hanger to hang wet clothes-towels-clothes. Free towels, cold AC, a lamp near bed-on the table, socket near bed, etc. Perfect! - I'm quite critical person, but I really recommend this place to relax your soul.

Great b&b in centre of a little town. Owners were great, very kind and helpfull. Breakfast was best what we had in whole trip in italy! Homemade goods and croissant&cafe.
