The staff was excellent, especially Amir. He was very helpful and informative.

The shower need some update. Too small. We would have preferred the bathroom to be in the room. It was across the rim and private.

Lorenzo owner of the property was very gracious and a very good host. Property location is very good in a central location. Cute breakfast provided by the Liberty cafe across the street from the property for coffee and pastries for breakfast. One can have a second cup of coffee or pasties as part of the breakfast provided by the guest house.

The shower stall was small and the water temperature set in the shower was inconsistent. Location might need a bigger water heater of ability to produce hot water for a shower on a more consistent level. Lighting in the room and bathroom can be improved. The overhead lights are not good for putting on makeup. Might need to provide a bigger hair dryer as the one in the bathroom did not produce enough heat to dry my spouse's hair quickly and properly.

We spent one night at this hotel from September 21st to 22nd and were pleasantly surprised by the location and warm hospitality. Due to a delayed flight, we arrived late, around 10:30 p.m. Although check-in was officially till 8:30 p.m., we were warmly welcomed, provided with the necessary information, and we even received two bottles of water. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke fluent English.

Il Giardinetto is an ideal place to stay the night before a cruise. The property is within walking distance of Civitavecchia train station and “Largo Della Pace” (hub for buses to docked cruise ships). The host provided an accurate way to reach the cruise ship hub for passengers with rolling luggage. He allowed me to stay after checkout for one hour before my embarkation time. The hotel charge came with a coffee and pastry voucher at a nearby cafe. Very helpful. The hotel is near restaurants, cafes, and pizzerias.

Breakfast was great at Liberty Cafe. The concierge was super friendly and helpful.

Great location - super walkable to everything. Loved the breakfast at the next door cafe - choose a baked item and coffee/tea (perfect Italian breakfast). Lorenzo is super friendly and helpful! Really clean spot!

Lorenzo was great and the room was very good. Close to everything I needed in town. Will return if I'm ever again in Civitavecchia.

I liked the location itself and the fact that it was close to the beach. I enjoyed the walks I went on during my stay as well as the breakfast I was offered for my stay.

Lorenzo was the perfect host and couldn't have been nicer. The air-conditioning in the room was a very welcome necessity due to the summer temperatures and I would definitely come back and stay at Lorenzo's place again!

The location is great. Lorenzo is a great communicator and makes you feel very welcome. The property is quiet and very clean. It's a great modern renovation, done to a high standard. 5 minutes walk to the train station.
