The host, Luca, was exceptional. He was genuinely welcoming, helping us with our luggage, making sure we had everything we needed, making a brilliant restaurant suggestion for my wife’s birthday dinner (and he called the restaurant and paid for our desserts!). He and his wife prepared an outstanding breakfast every morning which was served in their gorgeous garden behind the B&B. A ten minute walk to the historic center of Lecce.

This B&B deserves the highest score: the big room with spacy bathroom and top notch appliances, balcony, good breakfast in the beautiful garden, comfy bed... Everything was just perfect, I would highly recommend this place if you travel by car and plan to stay in Bari.

We were delighted with our stay at Il Giardino Della Scuncerta. This beautiful property has been artfully restored to pristine quality and styled with vintage furnishings. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with thoughtful touches throughout. Our wonderful host Luca was engaging and helpful. The historic center is within a 10 minute walk and it’s a 20 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast is served with a range of quality choices including homemade cakes. We highly recommend Il Giardino Della Scuncerta and would return in a heartbeat!

There is absolutely NOTHING to criticize, everything was great!

The B&B is a hidden gem, nicely located in walking distance from the city centre and with a small public parking lot right opposite. Our room (better: appartment) offered plenty of space, was furnished in the best of taste and in sum was very cosy and comfortable (imagine a spacious bath room in marble!). And Luca is an adorable host, extremely kind and obliging, who offered an excellent breakfast in his beautiful, perfectly maintained garden, a little green oasis in the heart of Lecce. Needless to say that booking, contacting and checking- in went absolutely smoothly. The only "downside" (if one can say so): We only stayed for one night, we would have enjoyed spending more days here and will for sure come back once we return to Salento!

Nothing. Luca exceeded our expectations with his super property and his amazing friendliness!

What a fantastic place! First of course, the location, which is about 10mins out of the old town, which means "no noisy tourists - or locals!" but close enough to have access to great neighborhood as well as old-town restaurants, and shops (supermarkets, pharmacies, clothing, etc.) The property is immaculately clean, and oh surprise, full of magnificent white marble everywhere including the floors and the stairs! The room was huge, with a very nice king bed, and a mini-fridge with various amenities (for a fee). The bathroom was great, very functional and nicely renovated - have you ever had a marble sink?? Breakfast was included - OMG, so many delicious things! Savory and sweet, plenty to choose from! Finally, the host, Luca, is a gem! He is so welcoming, so helpful! He does not know what to do for you to make your stay even better! I named him "the King of Cappuccinos" as he makes the best ones I have ever had, and does not mind, with a smile, making a second one! We loved this place! And Luca recommended a little Trattoria around the corner that was delicious - and so cheap! Add to this that Lecce is a very pretty town, surrounded by nice places to visit such as Otranto and Gallipoli, and you've got a slice of paradise!

Il Giardino della Scuncerta is fabulous. Luca was an amazing host. The room including the bathroom was so spacious with beautiful furnishings. The shower pressure was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. It was only a short 10 min walk into the historic centre. We were so pleased we stayed and if we ever come back to Lecce, we will definitely rebook.

Fantastic place! Lucca was the best host, so helpful, kind and welcoming! The place is spacious, clean, comfortable, beautifully furnished and with a really charming garden. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cakes. Location is really good, as it is like 10 minutes away from the historical center of Lecce. Parking places nearby - only 2 euros per day. In conclusion we recommend this place if you are visiting Lecce as it has all one could need. We will come back.

The wonderful mini-hotel turned out to be much better than we expected! Everything is wonderful and thought out to the smallest detail so that guests do not need anything. Spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, everything for making tea and coffee, good breakfast! Upon arrival, we were met by a wonderful good-natured person and the owner of the hotel, Luca, who helped us carry our suitcase, showed us everything in the hotel and offered coffee, it felt like we came to visit relatives, the welcome was so warm. We are very grateful to him for this! If we are lucky enough to visit Lecce again, we will only stay here! I highly recommend it to everyone!
