How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewIt was the perfect location to get an early flight in Rome. It's just 10 mins away from the airport and there is plenty of space to park your car. Finding parking spots is tricky in Italy.

Need access info at least 24 hrs before arrival time . It was So difficult finding the place as I had not received the message .

Verified reviewIt is a family-owned house with 2 rooms, located only 3km from the airport. Friendly owner who helped us carry our heavy luggage one floor up (there's no elevator). A welcome bottle of water. A new bathroom, hot water in shower across the day. Two open shelves for the cloths (since there's no closet in the Beatrice room). Fair breakfast with coffee, yogurt, fruit, cereales, apricot cake, croissant (unfortunately no omlet, cheese or vegetables as shown in the photos). Free street parking just outside the B&B. Fair value for money, mainly due to convenient location.
Small room, small shower, no facilities for the luggage (had to open it on the floor). Old bed with a poor matress (hard as a stone, a BIG no no). Airplanes taking off are heard in the room until 1am (fortunately, not too loudly). Overall, had a night with very little sleeping time.

Our B&B is a small family-run property with only two double rooms, both compliant with the official size requirements and perfectly suited for this type of accommodation. The room you mention has two open shelves for clothing, as indicated in the description, along with a proper shelf for placing suitcases — not just a simple luggage stand. This design choice allows for better use of space and keeps the environment airy and comfortable. Upon arrival, guests always find four complimentary half-liter bottles of water in the fridge, as a small welcome gesture. Breakfast always includes coffee, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, cake or croissants, and sandwiches. We do not serve cheese or omelettes — the items shown in our photos are pancakes, which we sometimes prepare as an alternative to baked pastries. All our mattresses are in excellent condition and checked daily, as we welcome new guests every day. We take great care in ensuring cleanliness and comfort; however, the perception of mattress firmness can vary from person to person. Airplane noise can occasionally be heard, but it remains at a moderate level and limited to reasonable hours. We are pleased that you appreciated the cleanliness and the strategic location, and we regret that some details did not fully meet your personal expectations. Verified reviewIt was relatively close to the airport and Costanino arranged a taxi to pick me up at the airport and take me back the next day for my flight home. I had planned to take the public bus but my plane was delayed and it was dark out so I'm so grateful to the owners & Paola for providing the taxi service at a discounted price. The continental breakfast and cappucino was delicious. There so many amazing choices and wished I could eat them all. The croissants (chocolate, my favorite), fruit and yogurt were all scrumptious! Thank you!
The bathroom drain didn't have a working stopper but that was okay. They are kind of located near an industrial area and not many places to get food nearby. I did walk on the highway for about 15 minutes at night (felt safe) to a farm & table restaurant nearby which was ok and a bit expensive.

Verified reviewPerfect location if you need a night or two close to the airport or looking for an escape from Rome by the seaside. Plenty of restaurants and cafes close in walking distance. Extremely comfortable, tidy and clean room. The breakfast was exceptional and the host was incredible to meet all our expectations and needs. Would highly recommend to stay there.

So amazing. He even was understanding when he had to wait for me when I arrived late. Highly recommend for your last night in Rome if you have an early flight.
