The host was so warm and welcoming. This is our best stay on the via Francigena. It's clear that thought has gone into the room and the amenities. The bed was comfy. The shower was fantastic - large, hot water and great pressure. Breakfast was also really nice. The location in the historical old town was also great.

The room is spacious, attractive, comfortable, conveniently located in the historical section close to the center. Hosts were superb, friendly, accommodating and gracious. They provided lots of information about the area. Early check-in and check out with ample breakfast was appreciated. I'll stay again next time I'm in Formello.

Such a lovely place to stay along the Via Francigena. One of my best night’s sleep because it felt so homey. I forget the host name but she is a sweetheart. I had told her I was leaving early and didn’t need breakfast but when I walked out of my room she had a whole table setup with coffee, juice, yogurt and packaged pastries. And a convenient place to park and lock my bicycle.

Very cosy place with comfortable bed in a quiet location. The room is air-conditioned which is great for the hot summer days. The host was really nice and welcoming and their cute puppy added extra charm to the place.

What a lovely place! Very convenient oasis for anyone walking the Via Francigena. Exceptionally nice host. Beautiful room with both air conditioner and ceiling fan so it was very comfortable on a very hot day. Very good bathroom; everything worked. Very near bars, an excellent restaurant and a super pizzeria. We had to leave by 6:00 to beat the heat; our hostess put out a lovely breakfast on the patio the night before with cold items in a cooler and coffee (both regular and decaf) in thermoses. This was a super stay.

There’s nothing not to like.

The location for Via Francigena walkers is perfect, the room is very comfortable and the host is super friendly and helpful. She even provided a very early breakfast so I could make the walk into Rome in good time.

The host TIZIANA and her husband were so nice and kind!!! I went to the Rome for 2days and there was a not much of transportation to get to Rome but the first day she care about me and second day I left my room at 8:30 but she gave me some snacks for the breakfast! It was sweet and kind! Also my last day I had a sightseeing in the village that I stayed there were so cute and history village. During the breakfast, we had a great time to have a conversation! They don’t speak English not much and I don’t speak Italian but we still could communicate and I really enjoyed to hear that history of the this village from her husband! The room also clean and comfortable! It’s a little bit not a convenient to access the Rome but I was so happy that I chose here! I had a good memory there! If you want to have an experience of that you should stay here!!! Grazie Tiziana!!!!

Wonder place, amazing hosts. We spent here only one night on our way from Rome to Florence, and everything pas perfect. When we arrived they greeted us with fresh fruits! The room had AC, and we were also supplied with bug repellents (much need around this time of year). All in all - great stay, amazing hosts.

Our host was so kind and welcoming. We had a delicious breakfast on the terrace and the overnight stay was right on the pathway for the Via Francigena which made continuing the next day so much easier. Our stay was like ‘a home away from home’. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

We were totally welcomed and felt very relaxed. Our host was very attentive. The ambience of the outside area and our room was warm and comfortable. We were provided with everything we needed and helped with recomodation and advice with directions. The breakfast was generous, and the hot moka coffee appreciated. We arrived tired and blistered and left refreshed. We continued straight onto Via Francigena, though we would have liked to stay longer.

Utterly charming, delightful place to stay in the heart of what must surely be one of the most exquisite of tiny ancient hamlets on the outskirts of Rome. The hosts are of a character to complement perfectly their house and its surroundings - generous, beautiful manners and immensely hospitable. This is a jewel of a place in every regard.

Nothing, this was my favourite place to stay on the VF by far

Solo traveller on the VF and this was the perfect location. Lovely terrace full of plants, large clean bedroom. Excellent breakfast spread offered in the morning. The host gave me the nicest welcome with cold water and fresh watermelon, and offered an amazing breakfast spread in the morning. I really would recommend you stay here either whilst on the Via Francigena or if in Formello for any other reason. Cannot recommend highly enough
