How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The room is big and very convienient for 2. The location is amazing. The staff are very helpful and responsive. Breakfast is good for the value of money. I would definitely recommend this venue to everyone.

A little far from most of the touristy areas but definitely still walking and it isn’t too bad

Everything was fine.
We loved the place, easy walk from train station. Nice breakfast. Spacious room. We recommend a visit to nearby Vascone garden, which is a quiet place, to calm down and rest from the tourist crowd in the city center.

Comfortable accommodation next to tram stop which was very convenient to access the centre, train/bus stations. A simple continental breakfast was served each morning, staff were helpful and friendly.

Not much choice of food. Noise from the street and mosquitoes.

The only thing that made me a bit uncertain was that, before arrival, we were asked to provide ID documents and pay the city tax through an unfamiliar phone number and a time destruction chat, which felt unusual and made us hesitant at first.
It was a lovely B&B. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and quiet. The property also had a beautiful yard, perfect for relaxing or enjoying breakfast.

The room was very clean and bright with good tea making facilities and a fridge. The shower was excellent. The room had doors that opened onto a lovely shared outside space with plenty of outside furniture. Check in and out very easy and communal space was also very clean and pleasant. Breakfast was basic but great considering the price. I would definitely recommend

Breakfast included, but it isn't possible to get it in reality for different reasons. First time, after told that wasn't included. I had not time to occupy myself with it.
All was perfect except a misunderstood with breakfast.

The only downside is that It’s a little bit noisy, especially in the mornings.
The property is 10/10. I didn’t expect it to be this good. It’s easily accessible with the public transport. It’s very clean and spacious and the staff were amazing. The terrace is amazing!

The breakfast was quite poor and also, we were receiving small portion of ham and cheese directly from the staff, they were giving us one slice of each to share per couple. If the omelette was finished, they would not provide us another, even if few more people wanted to have breakfast. Location is beautiful and the place is really clean.

It is close to the city center and central train station. The staff is very kind and helpful. Room is spacious, there is very nice internal courtyard. Bed and pillows are comfortable.

The staff at breakfast were phenomenal. They were kind and helpful. The breakfast was the best of all b&bs we stayed at. The proximity to the tram made getting to the train station and the heart of Florence easy. The place was clean and the common spaces were great.

It was about a 20 minute walk into the city The room was bright and clean bathroom was fine shower good and hot Breakfast was help yourself continental ,there was scrambled egg and bacon but was never hot when we had breakfast , But plenty of other things to eat . The staff were lovely x

I liked everything.
I liked that the host was ready to answer questions in messengers and agreed to resolve certain issues that caused a reason to worry at first. The breakfast was tasty and sufficient (the hostess cooked omelet to my delight). The check-in is contactless and easy-to-understand due to detailed instructions provided. I had a tea kettle in my room, which I find really necessary for travelers. Thank you!
