We had the most wonderful stay at this charming bed & breakfast. Mary and her son Joseph were the most gracious hosts—kind, caring, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Every morning they treated us to a delicious homemade breakfast, and throughout our stay they provided great recommendations, making sure everything was just perfect. The property itself is lovely. The trolleys are fantastic, and the location is truly ideal: close to many interesting attractions and things to do in the area, yet tucked away in a unique, green, and peaceful setting. It strikes the perfect balance for anyone who wants to explore while also enjoying a quiet, secluded retreat. We can’t recommend this place highly enough—an absolutely wonderful experience!

Lamarossa Trulli & Suites was really perfect and exceeded our expectations. The place was strategically located as it was close to all the places that we wanted to visit in the region, and we visited them all. Mary and Joseph were the most kind hosts we had. They were always available, always helpful, always with the best attitude. The place was really impeccable, everything perfectly kept, clean, with all the amenities we needed. The room was remarkable. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of food. Thank you guys, keep on doing such a great job! All the best.

The owners are just amazing. Going above and beyond makes your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived late in the evening and they were able to book a table from a restaurant nearby in 2 minutes. They also arranged a stunning boat trip for us to see the sunset and the dramatic coast of Polignano. Breakfast was fantastic and also a wine tasting in the evening at the premises was offered. Facilities are new, fresh and nicely special. Highly recommend the place

We’re writing this on our way to the airport, feeling so sad that our Italian adventure has come to an end — but what a beautiful way to finish it, thanks to Mary and her wonderful family at Lamarossa Trulli and Suites. This was the fourth stop on our 8-day trip across Italy, and without a doubt, it was our favourite place and our favourite hosts. The experience was incredibly wholesome, warm, and truly special. From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and generosity — like royalty, but with the warmth of family. To celebrate our engagement, Mary secretly arranged with my partner a surprise candlelit dinner: a beautiful Italian feast featuring fresh meats and cheeses from their own family-run business (see photos below). They even provided charcoal for the BBQ so we could grill fresh steak from a local butcher. That evening, we sat outside chatting with Mary and Joseph, sharing stories and learning about their family’s history and the incredible place they’ve built. The next morning, we were greeted with a stunning breakfast spread — fresh pastries, fruit, eggs, coffee, and more — all lovingly prepared. Throughout our stay, the attention to detail and level of care was exceptional. They made sure we had everything we needed and more. The Trulli itself was gorgeous — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and modern while still feeling authentic. The in-room jacuzzi was the cherry on top, and the pool was refreshing and pristine. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. To top it all off, we left with a thoughtful package of cheese and meat from their shop — and our hearts full. We honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. It was a highlight of our trip, and an experience we’ll never forget. We only wish we’d stayed longer — but we’ll definitely be back.

Our stay at Lamarossa Trulli B&B was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we arrived, Joseph & Mari and his wonderful family welcomed us with open arms, making us feel right at home. The accommodations were stunning; our room was beautifully designed and recently renovated, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. Each morning, we savored the breakfast, which was nothing short of a culinary delight. The highlight was the fresh fruit, lovingly picked by Giuseppe's mom—definitely a 10 out of 10 experience! The breathtaking surroundings and warm hospitality made it challenging for us to leave. I wholeheartedly recommend Lamarossa Trulli B&B to anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway. We can't wait to return!

This place is great if you are looking for a unique, peaceful and relaxing place. Owners were truly amazing. So warm, friendly and helpful. You can tell that there is a lot of attention put into details. Room was very clean. Oh, and not to forget - breakfast was amazing. Prepared by owners themselves. Delicious.

‘We booked a last minute weekend trip to Monopoli and were stunned to see that Lamarossa Trulli & Suites had available rooms. Every single room shown was decorated with tasteful elegance that complimented the classic and charming rusticity that any visitor interested in staying in a Trulli house will appreciate. When we arrived (several hours later than anticipated) our host, Mary, and one of her sons was there to welcome us with a lovely bottle of local Rosato wine and settle us into our rooms that she had decorated and designed herself! She and her son stayed several hours past our arrival as well to ensure that our spa pool had heated to the appropriate temperature and this level of care for our comforts set the tone for our entire stay. Breakfast each morning was served alfresco in the shade and breeze of the courtyard and healthful and filling without weighing us down too heavily- in other words the perfect breakfast. Mary provided an array of Italian and English/American breakfast items to tempt us with, as well as several cakes and tarts that she made herself. (And yes- I sampled all of them and my only regret was that I had not left myself more room for more cakes…) We also brought our dog, who was as kindly received as we were, and whom I also think rather enjoyed the comfort of our Trulli rooms. She spent some time in the room alone but I couldn’t tell you if she actually barked or just slept because the Trulli are indeed soundproof! So have no fear that your visit might be marred by any noise outside of your rooms. Now for the rooms themselves- I have never stayed in a Trulli before but Lamarossa has set a bar that I’m not sure will be reached elsewhere.
