Residenza Benizzi was in such a convenient location by Pitti Palace, everywhere I travelled to during my stay was between 5-25mins walk away. The elevator was extremely handy and Greta was super helpful and accommodating, allowing me to check-in early, leave my luggage after check-out, answering my queries and giving me a thorough tour of the apartment upon arrival. The common area included complimentary snacks, coffee machine, microwave and filtered water, with an electric kettle in the room (music to my British ears), as well as juice and water in the fridge. The bed was comfy, shower was great (love the colour-changing led lights) and I felt like I had plenty of storage as a solo traveller, I liked that an eye mask & ear plugs are provided and WiFi was great. There is a 3 prong plug by the bed and a usb charging point, there is a 2 prong plug point elsewhere in the room - bear this in mind if you are taking an adapter. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Location was a solid 10. On the edge of the centre, opposite Pitti Palace for reference. The rooms had everything you would need; kettle, fridge, safe, toiletries. The kitchen area had everything you could possibly need also. Tasty coffee and snacks a real bonus. They even had umbrellas in the communal area which was such a thoughtful gesture.

There is nothing to put even a small suitcase on. Just a small fold-away stool would be a huge improvement. Without it, it is a frustrating "on the bed-- off the bed" juggling trick, each time every day. At least one normal medium or larger pillow to compliment the "flat as a pancake" ones provided by the owner is needed. Wardrobes doors opening is a bit of a pain (modern design v functionality & client helpful set up). The bed mattress moves off the slipperly base.

Staff are marvellous, as is the location, so many lovely eateries, boutiques & artisans around - far enough from the tourist crowds yet 300m to ponte vecchio. Considerate touches by the owners, such as eye mask (the blind is not full sun blackout), earplugs, etc. (it was super quiet, so not needed), large bottle of water in the fridge. My superior single was more like a double bed in other hotels. Kettle in the room, so one can make a cup of tea, though no coffee (it is outside in a common kitchen, which is beautifully decorated). Clothes steamer in the room a bonus.

Right across from the Pitti Palace and just down from the Ponte Vecchio but totally quiet at night. Everything just a short walk away. Very central. Very nice space with a great shower and a well equipped shared kitchen. Highly recommended. Oh and the elevator!!!! Heaven.

The rooms were really clean and well equipped with everything you would need. Great location. Communal space was really good especially the filtered water and snacks. Really flexible with allowing luggage to be left after check out. Easy communication to plan check in and greeted on arrival.

Unfortunately, our room (Pitti) faced the street, and opening the windows at night wasn't an option due to the considerable noise. However, the air conditioning only heats, not cools.

We loved the property.

We loved the room we were staying in which was large and comfortable. The bathroom was great and thoughtfully designed. The location was perfect. The staff were very nice. We enjoyed the Residenza Benizzi so much that we recommend to friends visiting Florence.

Only thing is if the TV can work 😊 but we were only in the room at the end of the day ready to fall asleep , so not an issue for us . 10/10

Since it has no 24/7 hour concession, it is one of those accomodations where I have to communicate back and forth with the host. Time is inflexible when it comes to checking in. The only con is really the arrival- I had to walk a lot and take the bus with my luggage from the train station to this property. After checking in, though, everything was smooth sailing. There were times when I cannot catch a taxi before 8 am (not sure why), making me walk or take a bus all the way to the station each day.

The property is in a walkable neighborhood of Florence, full of people, food, stores, and gorgeous sites. The property is also close to the bridges and some bus stations (and a taxi lane), making transportation convenient when they can be. Very clean and I've had good nights of silence and peace.

Very friendly and helpful hostess . The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. Even though they don’t provide breakfast the common area is very well equipped with a full kitchen. They have several complimentary snacks available 24/7.

There were sweet and salty snacks accessible 24/7 kindly provided by the host - they saved me on the super early mornings of work meetings and catching trains and flights. :)
