The only thing I didn’t like was having to go up stairs but I’m getting old so it’s nobody’s fault. That’s the only reason I wouldn’t go back.

The air conditioner does not work well at all. The pressure in the shower is really low. The pillows are really uncomfortable. There is always noise from upstairs at night.

Breakfast could be improved with more fruit, yogurt etc. The property could be spruced up a bit to look nicer. The mosquito net on the window has frayed at the edges and let a few of them in. The property's admin could have been a bit more responsive to our messages sent via Booking,com.

LOCATION!! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of historic Florence. 6 mins walk to the Uffizi gallery, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Ponte Vecchio and Santa Croce basilica, 10 mins walk from the Duomo and Pitti Palace, 20 mins walk to Santa Maria Novella train station. The wonderful viewpoint, Piazzale Michelangelo, is 20 mins. Basically, you can walk to everywhere. The locale is also full of restaurants, bars etc, some of them reasonably priced (by Florence standards), e.g. Sgrano with its fab Tuscan stew. Conad supermarket is 1 min away and the room has a big fridge. The room was comfortable. Breakfast could be improved with more fruit, yogurt etc. But our friendly host, Fatiha, made lovely cappuccinos and had a nice chat with us every morning.

The description sayes rivervieuw ? But there was a net against birds in front of my windo and the view was on a building. Breakfast was terrible.

It’s kinda bleak. The pictures give a different impression. I was super concerned when we arrived as the stairs are dreary and there’s a lot of them. Then the breakfast room was not attractive though the breakfast is good.

The bed was comfortable and the room was adequate for us. The breakfast is also very good. The young lady taking care of things was sweet and helpful.

Toiletries were not already on the room, we had to reach out for them outside, including toilet paper. It will be great if the staff knew a little more english, but this is compensated by how attentive and nice Ayet was with us. It's a little noisy inside the bedroom when hosts arrive late in the night as the bell at the door can be heard from everywhere.

The room was ample and the bed very comfy, everything clean too. Ayet was very nice with us and helped us to store our luggage before our check-in time. She is very patient and attentive. The location is perfect and it has lots of public transportation links to all the main sites, including the Uffizi gallery which is just a few steps away.

The administrator Alessandro mistreated the staff girl in front of us. He was really rude with her which make the experience awkward.

The rooms are big, and the service by the staff specially by Hayet. She was really helpful and aware of all of our needs, responding in a timely manner with the best attitude.

Location is excellent, right by the river, in a small side street, one bridge up from Ponte Vecchio. Our room was large, with a capacious wardrobe. Our host was charming and was helpful. In the morning, she laid out a decent breakfast, albeit in an entrance hall/lobby. The room was clean and the shower worked well. It was quiet at night and you can leave your car at the garage 12m away, for €20. The entry to the room was easy, it’s self check in after 12.30. Just be aware that this is not a hotel…there is no lift and there are 37steps to the rooms, so if you have heavy luggage or have trouble with steps, you are on your own.
