The breakfast a but basic but frankly, not bothering me at all. Others may wish for a bit more variety but I was happy and would stay again.

Great room with view, reliable and friendly host who accommodated early arrival, and met me at the property providing all info I needed. Bed comfy. Super central.

Very welcoming host. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of space, with the additional benefit of a shared kitchen, with a small breakfast. View from the window. Very close to the train station, even though it is a steep climb. Easy to get around via bus, with good recommendations from host.

The curtain only covered around 75% of the window.

Le Stanze del Principe is in a good location for visiting Genova and is a short walk from the Genova Principe Railway Station, the harbour and city centre. There are a number of restaurants and bars within a few minutes walk.

I wouldn't consider this a hotel. Self service breakfast room wasn't to my taste, no privacy, you would have to sit at a table with others so I gave this a miss (personal preference is to eat alone). A very steep hill to get to the property so be advised if mobility is an issue for you. Also, noisy neighbours late at night for 2/3 nights of my stay disturbed my sleep as did the proximity to the breakfast room.

Extremely friendly and helpful welcome. Directions to the property were very good and clear with friendly WhatsApp communication. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was lovely. Good amenities in the room. Location great for getting around and everything withing walking distance. Across the street from the station so no chance of getting lost.

A substantial number of stairs to climb to reach the property and the wifi link in our room kept "dropping" quite frequently.

The room was tastefully furnished and great care had gone into the design and furnishings. The facilities were good ... even to the point of having a sewing kit in the room. The breakfast was plentiful and the location of the property suited us extremely well ... very close to the central station and the Old Town. We were met upon arrival and were advised as to places to eat, the locations of the main sights etc. and any questins that we had were answered very well. The Ristorante Cucina Casalinga da Mario was a real gem ... if you're "in town" go there. We'd certainly stay at Le Stanza del Principe again and would recommend it to others.

The only downside not related to the location is that the city is very steep, so be aware that you will have to climb stairs or uphill paths. Also, many doors within the place need to be locked/unlocked, but this also enhances security, so it is not a major issue.

Very extravagant room and I would suspect it's not to everyone's taste, but if you are open to more interesting and unique places, you'll like it. Very well-stocked in terms of food and drink options. Also, a big shout-out to the host, who was very friendly and welcoming. Super location — literally two minutes from the main train station and within walking distance of the historic center and landmarks (if you prefer not to walk, there's a bus stop within walking distance that can take you to the center and Boccadasse). Perfect stay if you are boarding a cruise from Genoa.

I had trouble following the directions to find the property. Fortunately the owner was there and saw us wandering around lost. He shouted directions from an outdoor platform that got us back on track.

Room has plenty of space. Bed is comfortable and large. Location is very close to the train station.

A great stay in a stylish room with good amenities, it's a short walking distance to the central station (Piazza Principe) in a quiet location.

the bathroom was outside the room and to arrive I had to cross the corridor, maybe I would have prefer the bathroom closer to my room

the location is perfect, just two mintues walk from the train station and not far from restaurants and bars, also a stroll to the port but I was stay only one night so I did not have time to go around

Check out for us felt a little to early. Breakfast was not very big- tasty, but small coffee, yogurt and bread with butter (maybe someone before us took all cheese and sausages, because we was the last and this is self- service…) And the cleaner lady came, when we still were there, she was very nice, but we would liked to have our breakfast and leave the apartment without a feeling, that we disturb each other a little bit.

Perfect location, very nice host- we arrived late, but felt very welcome. Especially our youngest :) Unique design, very clean, comfortable beds and a lot of different pillows. Was quiet.

Beautiful apartment with three bedrooms, each with own bathroom. Host friendly, received a message early morning with details and location pin. Host met us, gave information for our stay. Rooms well equipped, good bathroom. Good coffee, water, milk, croissant and yoghurt provided. Rooms clean. Across the road from main station. Can recommend for stay, will book again when visiting Genoa. Loved the beautiful decorated apartment.

No lift. Although we were on Floor 1, we still had to climb more than 30 steps with heavy bags. I was under the impression that this place a a hotel with lifts. Not the case. There was a lift , but only used for higher levels. To get to the lift, there are still those same 30+steps to climb. Please take note if you have mobility issues or have heavy bags. Also, a big walk up a steep hill to get there. The building is not marked with a sign, making it more difficult to locate. It's in a residential building, not a stand-alone hotel.

Excellent location for trains, airport bus and seeing the main sights. Very helpful people who let us check in early, offering a coffee and gave great dinner recommendation. Everything you need in the room and powerful shower. Could see the main station from our window, but we stayed in September and with the window closed sounds were blocked out.

We are not a fan of having textiles in the bathroom, especially not on the toilet seat.

Fairly priced and neighbor with the main train station. Thanks to the soundproof window, the room was quiet even with the trains just outside. Optimal for 1-2 nights. Nice host that gave us good recommendations for exploring the city and the check-in went smooth.

The parking spot was very tricky for our car, in the future we would definitely park in the garage downstairs.

The owner was very kind and helpful. We had everything we needed, the bathroom was fully equipped and the airco did a great silent job.
