The phone app as the only key or way to get into apartment block/room and with No person on site, makes it hard to navigate. My phone died and i couldn't get into the building or contact anyone for a while until I got a charge from the restaurant downstairs (who were very helpful!)

Was a little difficult to find using Google maps. A bit cramped for 3, but no real problem as only used for sleeping.

Unfortunately the bed was really uncomfortable for us and not good quality. Even though the pillows were great, the blanket was huge, we could not get a real good sleep because of the bed frame and the mattress. The heating system was a bit strange but it was working just fine

Really good location, friendly and helpful staff (that was easy to reach). Modern and clean room. Free parking right outside of the ZTL zone (5 min walk). Every time we had contact with them it was smooth and effortless.

The lack of acoustical separation between rooms was a problem - it’s why earplugs are provided, with minor effect. On one side we could hear someone using their bathroom throughout the night and also hear both sides of their phone conversations, both as if they were in our room. This woke us up frequently throughout each night of our stay. On the other side we could hear the couple enjoying themselves over the sound of their headboard knocking against the wall. I recommend bringing a white noise system which will help somewhat.

The room is located in the heart of Modena’s historic center and in an easy walking distance to everything - excellent location. The room also had a great view overlooking the piazza. Communication with the host was prompt, friendly and always helpful. The online electronic access system worked very well and was quite convenient. The windows provided good sound isolation from the piazza.

The floor did not seem to have been cleaned (everything else was though)… but after cleaning it myself with a towel it was a good stay. It is also a self-check in… very easy and everything works yet as being Swiss I do not always have data, so it would have been nice to have a key or a card once checked-in to use during the stay.

It was just next to the main square and this very lively. Pretty and comfortable room with everything one needs.

This was my first time staying somewhere without an in-person check-in at the reception. Everything was done online and through the app. It all worked perfectly. The location in the very center was amazing. The room was great. I will definitely choose Mazzini’s Rooms again on my next visit.

The Air Con in one of the rooms was broken. But they were able to bring in a portable unit.

Fantastic location in Modena. Right in the middle of Modena on a small Piazza. Ther were very responsive to any wuestions or issues we had.

Would’ve liked the sofa bed to have been made before we arrived as was the case in other hotels that we stayed at who knew the sofa lounge was required to accommodate all of our guests.

The location was wonderful. Right above the square with a great restaurant and gelato place right at our doorstep. To boot, the sounds of people dining al fresco could be heard when we opened our windows. Simply wonderful.

Nice and cosy, there is everything you need-small fridge, coffee and tea, shower gel and shampoo. Good lights distribution with strong and discrete lights. The keyless door opening is very good idea.

The outside temperatures were around 35 degrees, so air conditioning was a must. The apartment does have AC, though not the usual wall-mounted type. The fan in the unit is loud, and from time to time, it starts making a noise like a compressor, becoming so loud. Unfortunately, we left the apartment without having had a proper night's sleep.

Excellent location in the center of Modena. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, both for drinks and food. The apartment looks renovated, so it has a nice appearance, and everything was clean as well.

The location of this place is fantastic, so many places near by for shopping & eating. The host was fantastic always answering questions quickly and always willing to help with anything.
