How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

During my five-night stay, the room was tidied twice, and fresh towels were provided, although the bed linen remained unchanged. Unfortunately, I misplaced the room key card the night before my departure. I was requested to search for it in town and inform them of any potential locations so they could also look for it, with the understanding that a charge would apply if it was not found. While I was prepared to cover the cost of the lost key, I was somewhat surprised by the policy regarding a key card, which seemed easily replaceable. Ultimately, I was not charged, but I did receive several text messages requesting assistance in locating the key. The entire situation felt rather unusual. I do recommend the Nerea suite and I would stay again, but next time I will make sure not to lose the key.
Beautiful room with modern decor. Mini fridge, AC, TV with APP available. No iron. Amazing location right in the heart of the old town, port, restaurants, shops and beaches a 15 to 20 minutes walk. 100% recommended

It was in a great location, the whole apartment complex was styled beautifully. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very accommodating.

Nice stay overall! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. The staff were polite and helpful throughout. The place had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. There are both free and paid parking options nearby, and all the necessary guidance was provided prior to check-in, making everything very straightforward. Would recommend!

Parking was difficult as the town was very busy. There is free parking in white bays otherwise paid parking in blue bays.
Good location in the heart of the old town. Very quiet area no parking in the old town. 2 minute walk to the central square with bars etc Room was larger than expected. Very clean

It's a little bit small. There was only 1 cleaning for 3 nights, and it was partial because we were in the apartment at noon.

Notice: difficult to find parking during the weekend.
New place in the old town of monopoli. Quiet street and rest and places to visit at the corner. Good taste and High quality of interior design. Roof taras with nice city view. Comfortable bed. Very helpful staff. Recommend this place and will come back.

Great stay in a great location! Easy communication and .check in. Easy to find as it's next door to restaurant Munz Munz. Steep narrow stairs to the second floor but we were fine. Could have stored our bikes in the reception if we wanted. We loved the apartment!

Not all coffee pods supplied fitted the coffee machine. A kettle would be useful to make tea.

Small for 7 night stay for two people but only because one was sick! Also, a few shelves mounted in bathroom would have been helpful, but more necessary because of the length of our stay.

All good,
Well situated in the old city of Monopoli. Room is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Since we have a later train to airport, Nerea allows us leave the luggage at reception with free access of the hall of reception. And the receptionist has been very helpful and nice. We are highly appreciated. We are totally recommended this place if you would like to stay in Monopoli

Maybe a chair or tables in the balcony- but the rooftop has all this so it’s not a huge problem!
Really lovely hotel exactly as pictured. 2 mins to main square and 5/10 mins to closest beach and lots of bars and restruants. 15 mins walk from train station Staff really quick to respond on text. Rooms cleaned to a high standard. Very comfy bed and good shower.

No kettle, wine-opener, plates, cutlery, cups, glasses etc ... so not really possible to really use the roof terrace which was one of the reasons to book the room
