The hotel is in a nice location just inside the walled city. Staff was very helpful with checkin and dinner recommendations. The room was large and clean.

The host, Tobias, was very attentive and provided an excellent tour of the facilities and the apartment. Exceptionally professional, warm and engaging -- it was like we were actually living there in Lucca!!! Loved it!!!

A lovely hotel in a great location - next to one of the gates into the old town with easy public parking. A family-owned/run hotel with welcoming and very helpful reception: they are rightly proud of their beautifully decorated Palazzo and pay great attention to detail

absolutely nothing not to like

The Palazzo Froussard is an exceptional place to stay. The property is beautiful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location right inside the white gate is perfect to access all Lucca has to offer. The owner Tobias could not have been more accommodating. He is very welcoming and kind and it is obvious he takes great pride in his place. He goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need for the perfect stay.

It was perfect!

Is a former palace which is beautifully decorated with art work and each room furnished with a different theme. Centrally located in the city but the accommodations is so incredible that you just want to stay there. The proprietor Klaus and his son are simply delightful and attended to our every need.

I couldn’t find any fault with my stay.

What a wonderful property. Located within the walls of the Lucca, this grand property was perfect for my week long stay in Lucca. It was comfortable and the decor beautifully finished. I loved the windows overlooking the garden and appreciated the inclusion of fly screens to protect from mosquitos entering the apartment. Tobias was an incredible host, attentive and helpful and helps make the stay excellent.

Very little to dislike. Perhaps more information on recycling items would be helpful especially in this environmentally sensitive location .

Tobias was wonderful I’m looking after us as guests. He gave us all the information we needed, he was so kind and courteous . The property is fantastic and architecturally so interesting and renovated to a very high standard. Looking out on the gardens was truly beautiful. The apartment was excellent , a very good well equipped galley kitchen , very comfortable and the interesting art work all added to the relaxing ambience of this lovely place to stay in Lucca.
