It's a real pleasure to know that our room comfortably accommodated all five of you and that there were no issues with hot water, even with the "challenge" of three teenagers! We're glad you found the breakfast to your liking and that our location, so close to the water bus station, made your travels around Venice easier. Our facility was born inside an historic and notified building in which it is not possible by law to carry out major works such as, for example, the excavation of the centuries-old flooring, to install a larger elevator. However, we have tried to meet the needs of our customers by installing a lift system that can facilitate the ascent of luggage and guests, which is highly appreciated by our customers. Dear Sir, we have seen your review and are sorry that it was so extreme and we ask you if you think you have assigned the rating objectively. 1 the red deodorant is actually a liquid against mosquitoes that we put in the rooms for free because the Venice lagoon is unfortunately invaded by mosquitoes 2 Unfortunately things break but we understand that when a lamp was requested, the receptionist on duty (The rude director) immediately brought a working one to the room and that she was also offered to change rooms in the following days to have a brighter room for free. 3 the elevator is a lifting system that facilitates the ascent of people and suitcases in a notified historical building dating back not to the Middle Ages but to 1800. 4 the refrigerator is a hotel mini bar 5 the room YOU BOOKED was a standard one that did not include any view as is clearly specified on the portal, if you had booked a room with a canal view you would have had a room with a canal view which obviously has a higher price. 6 the breakfast buffet and the cleanliness of the room deserve a more truthful rating. 7 We do not think that you can afford to accuse us of fraud and we remind you that it is a serious accusation. We understand that you did not like the view from the room but unfortunately such low ratings like the one you left us, ruin the work of the employees who welcomed you with such cordiality, who served you at breakfast and those who cleaned your room during the days of your stay, as a 1 gives the idea that the staff did not work properly. Even though we are aware that you were not happy with your room we remain speechless for the lack of objectivity shown with your rating.
