We should have stayed at least another night.

We loved everything about this place. An easy walk from the station. On a very vibrant street with lots of places to eat and drink. If you arrive before the check in time of 15.30 you are allowed to drop off your luggage which is a great bonus. Obviously the rooms are in an old, traditional building. There are stairs up to your room with no handrail, so you need to be careful if carrying luggage. Breakfast was beautifully laid out and served by an exceptionally friendly lady who couldn’t do enough for us. If we return to Palermo, and we would like to, then we wouldn’t hesitate to return. If you are a light sleeper then we’d advise bringing a sleep mask and maybe ear plugs if you go to bed early.

Perfect location in the city centre of Palermo, super easy to check in - nice breakfast, very friendly people. Cool little balcony to read my book with the buzzing city vibe around me. (And impressive noise cancelling windows!)

There’s no elevator so we had to carry our luggage up , but it was only one floor up so no big deal.

Awesome view from the little balcony. Location was perfect, the room was very nice clean and decent size. Breakfast was sufficient and delicious.

Some walls are not solid (hollow). If you have noisy neighbours, you will hear them.

Only problem was that we arrived by car and we parked 15 min from this place - the suitcases we have to bring in our hands in 40 degrees. But this was not problem of accomodation but our problem :)

Fantastic accomodation in the heart of Palermo - very clean, nice rooms in old building. Owners very friendly and helpful. When I will oversleep in Palermo next time, I will surly choose this BB.

It's worth noting that the rooms are located on the first floor, so you will need to climb one relatively narrow staircase with your luggage. Also, keep in mind that the property is within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) and there is no parking available on site. However, you don't need a car to get around the city center, so if you arrive by car, plan to park it elsewhere before reaching the historical area. While the street is quiet, you can occasionally hear noise if the adjacent rooms are occupied.

We had a great stay at this B&B, primarily due to its fantastic location right in the historical district on Via Vittorio Emanuele. Situated on a quiet alley, it was easy to walk to all the city's main attractions! The room itself was spotlessly clean, and the check-in process was smooth; the instructions for entering the building were clear and easy to follow. We appreciated that there was no noise from the street. Although we haven't met the owner, communication via WhatsApp was easy and helpful. Overall, if you're looking for a clean and comfortable place with a perfect central location and don't mind a short climb up stairs, this B&B is an excellent choice for exploring the city on foot.

As this was a B&B we expected breakfast to be served in the building. Previous reviews said breakfast was fabulous. This was not our experience. Instead we received vouchers for 1 coffee, 1pastry and a glass of juice each at a local Cafe. Luckily it was fine weather as the cafe was 160 mt down the street. We had very little face to face interaction with the host. All communication was via whatsapp. Only met once when host wanted to clean the room. Usually at B&B the host is present at least some of the time.

The location was great. Self check in worked OK.

After reading reviews mentioning an excellent breakfast I was disappointed to find that we were only offered a very minimal breakfast at a local cafe where the staff were brusque to say the least. As I make a point of choosing properties that offer breakfast on the premises this was a disappointment. The room, although clean and well-equipped, was too small with a lack of storage space.

The Persiane was a great apartment, with terrific, friendly and helpful management. Breakfast was provided, which was lovely. The location was excellent. All logistics were handled perfectly, and in a friendly manner. Our needs for luggage storage on the day of departure were easily handled. Thank you, Persiane team!

Giuseppe and Manuela were great hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. Gave us directions and ordered a taxi for us when we needed it. We overslept past breakfast but they saved it for us and it was a delicious selection.

One 'tiny' improvement which could be made - a plug-in WiFi repeater/booster in our end room Porta Nuova, farthest from the WiFi modem. The signal was pretty weak, but 4G mobile coverage was very good.

Despite being in a very busy and trendy area in Palermo, the room was lovely and quiet (with the windows closed 😀). Our hosts Manuela and Giuseppe were marvellous and their breakfasts excellent - great selection with savoury on offer (fairly rare in Italy as sweet pastries are the norm for breakfast), and coffee/tea of choice hand-made by Manuela. We highly recommend this intimate and beautifully appointed BnB hotel.

Bit of noise in the evenings outside. So close the well insulated windows for quiet. Air conditioning in all rooms.

The breakfast was excellent with lots of goodies to choose from. Owners informative on the local offerings. Very convenient area to be located in. Rooms very well conveniences.

There was an enormous street light right outside our balcony that made our room very bright at night. The proprietor closed the wooden shutters after our first night when we mentioned the issue. That helped a lot, but not entirely. A good set of blackout curtains would really help to block the light that still comes through the closed shutters.

Excellent location within easy walking distance to downtown sites (Norman Palace, Teatro Massimo, Mercato del Capo, etc.) and easy to reach via airport bus that runs every 30 minutes or so. Even though the balcony of our room directly overlooked the lively Via Vittorio Emanuele pedestrian area, the room was very quiet (combination of really thick walls and quality insulated windows I guess). Breakfast with cappuccino each morning was delicious and a great start to the day.

We wanted to be near restaurants, and loved that we only had to walk downstairs to be in the heart of a cafe area. Despite this, it was quiet & cosy. The owners were both lovely with excellent communication. Breakfast was great with a wide assortment of pastries & fruit.

The location of persiane al cassaro was just perfect for us. The room was absolutely beautiful, the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was such a lovely bonus . I would love to stay there again
