Absolutely nothing

The location is premium: close to all major attractions and transportations; my room is clean, bright (with gorgeous port view), modern and well-designed; the communal space (shared living room and kitchen) is chic and thoughtful; and most importantly, the host Francesca is so warm and welcoming: she really went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable at home.

Everything was wonderful! Francesca, the owner, is an awsome persone! Even if we got there long after the breakfast time she still served us a very good coffe and biscuits! The room is very big, very confy and extremely clean! If I will ever go back to Genoa, I will chose this proprety ❤️

Everything was perfect.

Port View offers fantastic spacious rooms decorated to the highest standard. The bed is very comfortable, I had everything I needed for my stay, even bottles of water. I had a beautiful view over the harbour and it’s a short stroll to the old town, the Principe Station, harbour. Francesca is very welcoming, super friendly, and provides you with all the information you need. She met me at the property before check in so I could store my luggage, and even rang me a taxi for the airport. She let me store my luggage on check out day and I also could stay in the room longer due to other guests arriving late. This was really appreciated. I hope to return again.

Everything was great, zero complaints.

Francesca was an excellent host. She met me outside of the property and led me to a nearby parking garage. She helped me get settled into the room and carried heavy suitcases for me I so appreciate her help and patience with me. I’m a senior and she made my stay so wonderful. She also helped me with my luggage when I departed which was exceptional care. I would highly recommend Port View it was a fantastic stay.

There are a set of stairs before the elevator, however the host was more than happy to help with luggage up to the elevator. The are is not ideal for a single woman at night. If you are walking from the train station with luggage be advised that the side walks are cobblestone and not that easy for wheeled cases.

The rooms are beautiful and Francesca is a fabulous host. It is across from the port so an ideal location for sightseeing.

Francesca was very accomodating and communicative making for easy access into the facility. The location is within easy walking distance to Genova Principe station and the waterfront. It is, however, a longer walk into the old town centre.

Everything was perfect so can’t complain about anything

The room was large & airy. Bed was very comfortable and our host Francesca was excellent, with some great restaurant recommendations. The bathroom was also outstanding. We will definitely be returning!!

Francesca the host was lovely. Apartment had everything we needed. Continental breakfast available and perfectly adequate. Comfortable beds with a lovely view of the Port, but very quiet. At a good price point. Thank you.

Accessibility was a bit tricky if you have problems going up and down stairs.

The location was excellent - very close to the port / aquarium/hop on hop off bus. The room was lovely and bright with good air conditioning. I must mention Francesca the host who was brilliant - thank you very much for your kindness.

Our room was deep cleaned each morning, which was a delight we did not expect, but for us who are backpacking and using the destination as a rest spot we did feel like we had to get up and leave the guest house for the room to be cleaned, when we would have preferred to lay in and rest, particularly as our stay was only short. Perhaps this could be an option for guests who have a shorter stay rather than regular practice

Our stay at the Port View was wonderful. Our host Francesca was extremely helpful and informative, with lots of useful guidance about how to reach the destination and what to do in the area. At the property we had exceptional facilities, everything we needed and more. We were very impressed by the kindness from Francesca’s kitchen and the food we could use ( we did leave a donation to show our gratitude). The room design was very comfortable and modern, with elegant features and a good AC which was very much needed in the summer heat.

Wonderfully cozy modern room with a fantastic view. Our bathroom made great use of reclaimed materials for the door and vanity- very cool! Close to sights and great restaurants as well as walking distance from train station. Our host was very responsive and made sure our stay was great. We did not realize that the kitchenette was a common area- but sleeping rooms are removed from that area and each room locks. We did not hear other guests. Thanks for a great stay!

Immaculate Francesca clearly takes pride in her property She keeps it very clean and presentable and she greeted us at check in and helped us with all local phone numbers and travel information which was very helpful. Kitchen area was great and she provided fresh towels and bedding every day. Francesca is an excellent host
