    I really liked the check inn experience, it was done in few mins and staff was exceptional . Also attention to details on cleanliness was topnotch .

    Nothing bothered me to mention here..may be bathroom space would have been little bigger for comfort but it is not that you cant use it.

    It was close to the airport (11 min 4:15 am taxi ride) and had several restaurants around it.

    They had turned off the air conditioning so all they had was heat. It was a hot day and with us on the fifth floor, the room was stifling. On top of it only one window had a screen on it, and there was no breeze. So here is where the location of the hotel was a problem. Between the tram line and constant ambulances there were a couple car alarms … needless to say we got very little sleep.

    We arrived at the hotel at 12 midday. Dropped off our bags for storage and took a metro which was just around the corner. Went to enjoy Florence for the rest of the day and stayed for one night. Beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Florence Rifredi train station is just 10 minutes walking distance and it is handy if travelling from Pisa town. A lot of shops and restaurants around for a lunch or dinner.

    I requested 2 single beds in advance and emailed a reminder a day before arrival, but the room was with double bed. When we checked in at 7 pm after long day on the feet in Florence we were told we have to wait at the reception until the bed will be made in to two singles. The walls are so thin as we were able to hear people talking in the room beside. No kettle in the room and when we asked for a cup of boiling water we were told to pay for it. The gym door is locked and we had to ask several times to let us in and wait beside doors as the room door card which was activated didn’t work to unlock gym door.

    The outside of the building was newly renovated, which looks good, but actually misleading.

    1. The room is definitely different from the pictures they show on the website, everything interrior was plastic, the chair, the bed the tiny TV, and even the queen bed was pooled together by 2 single beds, and definitely no carpet. 2. No toothbrush, no slipper for a so called 4-star hotel 3. AC wasn't working 4. Room telephone wasn't working 5. The worst part of the stay, is the cleaning in the morning. Fist of all, the door couldn't be locked properly from inside, so 9am some one just OPENED THE DOOR WITHOUT EVEN KNOCKING! and unsurprisingly, about half hour later, someone tried to open the door again. Secondly, the staff starts cleaning very early in the morning with a vacuum machine which is SUPER LOUD(room had no sound proof at all), whatever was going on next door, feels like an earthquake in my room. And probably they can't clean my room as they expected(which is 9am), the staff were super loud and noisy next door, my bed was literally shaking. Anyways, Shit-show! I'd say the hotel worth a 2star. Hehe.

    Great stay! Very friendly and welcoming staff. Parking is available, which is super convenient. It’s just a 5 minute walk to the tram, and then you’re quickly ( about 10-15 min) in the city center of Florence. Perfect location for exploring the city and stay away from the crowd!

    Breakfast is average, I would prefer to pay more and get something better.

    Hotel Raffaello was clean and modern. Reception staff was extremely helpful.

    I just thought when you add breakfast and city tax it become expensive.

    It’s a hotel just outside the city center, but the historic old town was easy to reach. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a good rest and enjoyed a nice breakfast.

    The parking arrangements could have been explained more clearly in advance, which would have saved us some extra driving around. Also, providing information about the ZTL on the website would make things clearer. This is just a small point for improvement.
