Great location. Less than a 10 minute walk from the train station. Plenty of reasonable priced restaurants nearby. Our host Katy was fantastic in helping us out.

Cafe for breakfast was adequate. The guy who served us was unfriendly and impatient. Although we were at the front of the queue he ignored us for a long time to serve locals instead. We didn’t feel welcome so we found breakfast elsewhere for the rest of our stay. Thankfully we hadn’t paid for this in advance. It seemed that if you wanted to order something other than a pastry and coffee it was inconvenient. A shame as it was our only negative experience in Florence, everything else was fantastic!

Main street below the room was loud in the afternoon, no fault of the property.

The location was in the middle of the city. Very short walk from all the local attractions. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was good.

Martina got the faulty light bulb changed in the landing after two days but it was still dark on the stairs to the first floor apartment, behind the lift shaft. The light outside the apartment door only comes on when you have reached it after climbing the stairs in the dark.

The location is very central for walking to all the tourist attractions. Great housekeeping and cleanliness.

We were given breakfast snacks which was a nice addition. We were greeted, advised how to access the doors to the accommodation and given a map and shown the best sites around in Florence. The room was a nice size with a comfortable bed and good size bathroom.

The location was excellent, walking distance to the tram & bus station and only 5 minutes from the centre of town. Our room was very quiet with no external noise or noise from other guests. There were many restaurants and supermarkets within minutes walk. The staff were absolutely amazing and so accommodating, especially when we asked if we could check out a little later. We loved the size of the suite with the guest coffee machine and cold water just outside the door in reception.

Our aircon did not work and it was really hot, so we needed it. The bed can be a little more comfy. They can do up the balcony to be a little more trendy and accommodating, for now, it is just an outside, now worth using as a patio. A communal bathroom & microwave would be an added bonus for when you have checked out & want to freshen up for airport...We did not have breakfast, so not sure how that would be...

Place is central to everything, especially Santa Maria Novella, which is a plus in a place where you walk endlessly with luggage. Place is super clean. Check in staff super friendly and accommodating. You get to store your luggage all day until train or airport time. Water & loo are scarce in Italy, you have to buy to use the loo or buy water to get any, even in restaurants, so here, they have a water dispenser, which is a huge plus in the scotching heat. The rooms are done up and beautiful, we were given endless tea and coffee supplies. We also received welcome baskets with goodies like croissants, biscuits for tea and cake. We also received bath soaps, shower gels & shampoo, which other places actually do not give. Really loved it!!!

Great location, on a road with lots of lovely restaurants and not as busy as the main areas. The room was lovely and clean, perfect for being in the city. Martina who checked us in gave us great recommendations. I wouldn’t say it is a b&b. It is an apartment with 5 rooms in total, there isn’t a reception etc and no breakfast, it is just rooms, which we were happy with, but some others may prefer booking a hotel. There are contact details in case you did need to get hold of someone though :)

Location: Like 10 min walk from the train station and touristic attractions. communication: someone from the B&B was in touch with us the night before, we agreed on the arrival time and again reconfirmed during the arrival day. Rooms are very clean, nicely decorated. Bed is comfy Double glass windows work perfectly, once you open them, you hear all the noise from the street. lots of restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the street. We were able to leave the bags for storage which was handy on departure day.

The shower had a large rainwater head but there was no hand held sprayer because it must have broke and was closed with a cap. It was hard to shower without getting your hair wet even with the free shower cap.
