There is not enough to say about Residenza Conte di Cavour & Rooftop. First, I want to thank Clara at their sister location. The day we were set to arrive we had a nightmare situation and getting to the location was a nightmare in itself. Clara at the reception desk was warm, welcoming, and kind and it was really appreciated when we had a very difficult day. The room itself was very nice. We had double vanity sinks with a spacious bathroom. The shower area was lined with marble/granite and was very nice. The rooftop view is easily accessible and a great location to enjoy a coffee while watching the sunrise. You can see the dome of the Duomo. The location of this Hotel is perfect. You are 7 minutes walking to Piazza del Duomo and 15 minutes walking to Ponte Vecchio. I would highly recommend this Hotel to a couple traveling on a romantic getaway.

There was a juice and coffee machine in the kitchen but wasn’t always full with milk or juice

The rooftop view was amazing, location is perfect Anthony was an amazing receptionist, helped us and always responsive Room was big and nice, clean

Broken toilet roll holder. Shower head not working and hand held shower kept falling off and making a mesh outside on the tiles as the shower door didn’t close properly. No where to put your toiletries in the bathroom.

Fredrika gave us a wonderful greeting on arrival and we were very appreciative that she had our room ready for us on arrival after a hectic walk from the train station She did suggest we take the tram on our departure ,as it was must closer and easier . she was delightful and gave us information on Florence .We were close to most things and enjoyed having a bite to eat one nite on the rooftop one note with a view of the Duomo , it was nice , They had a community kitchen with Cappuccino/ Hot chocolate which was a nice touch and water .

The lobby/reception desk closed after 3pm and had to use their sister hotel (only 4 min walk) for any enquiries after 3pm. The toilet also didn’t flush every time, usually had to give it 3 or 4 goes to flush or wait a bit.

The location was great, very central to where we wanted to go. The room was spacious and clean.

The bathroom was small - definitely hard to see in photos , including a very tight shower with no where to put any shower products so you end up leaving water everywhere. This wasn’t a big deal but worth noting. There’s also minimal natural light and the lighting in the bathroom is not good

Hotel is in the PERFECT Florence location - easy walking to all the main sites and really easy walk from the tram which you can get from the main train station. The staff were so helpful and lovely Bed was super comfy and the lift to the rooms was great particularly with bags!

I wasnt happy about checking into a nearby property for the key since it was after 3 and then having to walk to actual property. Anthony did provide us assistance and he was wonderful! The stairway to the bedroom is steep, tight and not not good for getting up in the dark to use the restroom downstairs.

We chose the property for the location. Close to everything without being in the center of it.

Location is everything here! Great views from the room window to the street and beautiful views from common area on the roof!! It’s right in the middle of the busy parts of town with 15 min walk to most all attractions for us first time visitors. Has a clean bed bathroom. The place does have an elevator though which is rare in this area!

We have no complaints. The stairs might be a challenge for some people.

The residence functions like a small hotel or pensione with a staff person available. The room was large and comfortable with excellent bathroom facilities. The location was great for us, just outside the historic city center and we could walk everywhere.

Although we didn’t have a problem I would not recommend the room I stayed at because the stairs are difficult for people with some mobility issues.

The room was a bit small and the signage inside the hotel says there is a 24-hour coffee station on the second floor but the code to the floor I stayed on (3) didn’t work for floor 2 so we could not access the coffee station.

The room was clean and had useful amenities like coffee, drink cooler, and plenty of towels. The check-in communications and instructions were clear and easy. The manager was really nice when we met her. The rooftop patio was the selling point and it did not disappoint. Location is excellent.

Run by really kind and friendly people! It's an easy walk from Santa Maria Novella, and it's in a wonderful old building. Comfy bed, lots of hot water, and coffee and tea provided.

We could hear the gurgling of plumbing when a toilet was flushed or the shower was being used. It sounded like it was coming from over us, but we were on the top floor.

Loved that there was an elevator to take us to the top floor and our beautiful room.
