Very comfortable stay at a interesting historic building near the centre of things.

Very comfortable room in a fabulous historic building which is a short walk from all the major attractions. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the shower great. There are a few steps to the rooms which are obviously old so you have to be a little careful but as long as you turn on the lights you’ll be ok. I’ve read in some of the previous reviews that it’s noisy, I wouldn’t say it was at all, however, if you’re a very light sleeper take ear plugs. My only very minor complaint (and it is very minor) is that our room could have had some drinking glasses (even plastic ones) and a couple more coffee mugs (see very minor!) it’s not 5 star but we had a very comfortable stay at this quaint historic building. Lastly I must mention the staff who were very helpful and friendly.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the slates on the bed were broken meaning it dipped near the head. The pillows were very uncomfortable with very little cushion. The shower was good pressure but old and mould in spots. The bathroom smelt of urine sometimes and the noise from the people walking above you in the room was awful at night.

The location was great. Right in the middle of all of the great spots with walking distance to everything. The room. Was well presented at first glance.

We forgot some 3 jackets in the cabinet, the staff took a long a time to act and respond. I wanted them shipped to Rome while I was still in Italy. When I left the place there was still 6 days left for them to ship them to me, but they did not move fast enough. Also they claimed they did not find both my kids jacket, which I know for certain were together because we saw them in the cabinet the night before leaving (and we did not use them because of the really high temperatures outside). In the end, our mistake to forget them, but I did not feel any real effort from them to help me get our stuff back.

The room looked a bit dated and worn down compared to the photos. There was some minor damage to the side of the bed and in the shower which looked easily fixable but now detracted a bit from the experience of staying here. The fridge looked a bit too dirty for us to use it so we didn't use it at all.

The location of Residenza d'epoca Borgo Albizi is absolutely fantastic, in about five minutes you're standing in front of the Duomo. Additionally the recommended parking was only 2 minutes walking away and easily booked online. The airconditioning in the room was a godsend to deal with the summer heat.

The possibility to leave baggage with reception after check-out is really a necessity. I had not realized we would need to climb 2 flights of stairs with our baggage. We managed ok but being forewarned is important. I had not understood from the Expedia website which room we had booked, and I erroneously expected a larger room. It worked out okay nonetheless, for such a quick stay.

location was great. accommodations were charming, however there were some challenges.

There were only a couple of tea cups & mugs in the room. It would have been great to have a few small plates. Overall though it was great for a couple of nights stay.

It was a great location, close to all the main tourist attractions. Check-in was easy as the management have an office on the ground floor of the building and the lady who checked us in was very helpful & friendly. The room was very spacious & there was a good supply of towels at our disposal.

The bed was very soft and the pillows also felt very old and flat. The room was a little smaller than it appeared in the pictures, particularly the bathroom.

Great location, within 5-10 minutes walk you are at all the main sites. Lovely building and nicely furnished room. Large bed and great shower! Receptionist gave us a list of restaurants that were recommended and the ones we tried from the list were all good!

    simple but Ok

super central in an ancient building and parking garage very close by. we can recommend the pasticceria just across for breakfast and the small trattorias 2 mins to the left. good quality for reasonable prices. our room was to the inside gallery, meaning the passage way to the other apartments, so a bit dark, but except for doors banging quiet.

The room got very hot and were only able to open windows into the hallway (no use of air con in winter/spring). The floor a little thin and could hear all the movements of the people above us. Room was more dated than in the pretty pictures.

The location is ideal! Worth it regardless of the negatives. Neat accomodation for our three night stay
