Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

NetherlandsI wasn’t in a good mood as my flight got cancelled and I had to stay overnight, booked this place as it’s 9-12 min by tram/ walk from station. And man was it nice, really friendly service including breakfast in their bar below. Perfect bedroom and nice bathroom with a good shower. All was perfectly clean and it was a very quiet night even with window open. Really helped me to relax of all earlier that day. My sincere compliments!

United StatesUnfortunately this posting is misleading. Perhaps it is more clear on another site such as AirBnb but for booking.com and the other Italian hotel site I found it on, it is not really as expected. This is listed on hotel sites as a Bed & Breakfast, however, it is a room inside someone else's apartment. You have to be let in as it was access to an apartment building and then walk through the owner's living/kitchen area to your bedroom. There was no indicator on the posting that this was not a hotel or at least a room with private entrance. As for the features of the "BnB," the terrace is part of the main living area and the "mini market and coffee shop" are drinks inside the owner's kitchen. I assume laundry is extra as it's not in the room. The breakfast/bar listed is served in a restaurant next door to the apartment complex (there is no mini bar or "bar" in the apartment). We had to schedule a time to meet the host which was confusing until we realized there is no front desk but the owner was coming down to meet us. There is no sign on the building due to being an apartment so it's hard to find. The room did have a separate key lock but we were caught off guard that we were staying in a room without a private entrance (especially when we thought this was a hotel with "front desk") and were concerned about walking through their living space at night or even talking. There are multiple keys to keep track of as you have to enter the front of the building, apartment, and private bedroom. There are signs everywhere with extra fees such as using the owner's kitchen etc. If a room within an apartment is expected, then the room is fine. Two twin beds pushed together/clean/has tv etc - however, we never rent rooms inside of apartments. Also not to imply the owner was not friendly, but there is no deadbolt on the room - so essentially someone could enter at any time and there is no safe.
The host was kind - They did not speak English but used a translator as they greeted us and walked us through the space. The room was clean and the apartment was a few minutes walk to the train which was one stop from the airport, which is why we selected it. The owner will drive two people to the airport (~1 mile) for 40 euro. It's also about a block from a grocery store. If the posting was updated to be accurate, this bedroom may be a fine solution for some travelers.

Property was nice. Proximity was very close to the Florence airport. Tram or taxi is possible. Set up is more like a B&B. Security on the property is excellent. We left very early for a flight and we’re not able to enjoy the breakfast.

RomaniaOn booking it appears as an apartment for rent, but in reality you find yourself having a room in an apartment where the owner and his wife also live, and if you want to use the kitchen you have to pay extra. I have never experienced anything like this in all my travels where I have tried to rent an apartment and wake up with a room rented from a family where you are not allowed to use the kitchen even though I was with the children only if you pay But you can go through the kitchen to get to the balcony if you want to use the balcony. If you want to rent a room in an apartment and sleep with the owners in the apartment then it may be a solution but if you want to close an apartment it is to be avoided.

GermanyThe owner was more than unfriendly. He wanted to charche us 100€ to bring the room in the appartment. There was no space for our bikes in the whole house. Our solution was because we had not 100€ in cash to ask all the hotels near by if we can park the bikes there for one night. Finally we found a spot for our bikes in the hotel Mirage. The owner likes to discussion and cannot give in. It Took us two ours till we were allowed to enter the apparment and it was raining outside. One of the worst days during our bike trip.

The hostess is very smiling and kind. The room is cozy and very clean. The beds are very comfortable. There is an independent air conditioner. The towels and bed linen smelled very good.. The breakfast was sufficient and tasty..The tram stop is 5 minutes from the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again. We recommend it.😊

RomaniaMany of the facilities mentioned on the site were missing, for example the slippers and the iron. We eventually got one after requesting it, although they told us we should have asked in advance. There was a camera on the hallway watching our every move. We wanted to use the fridge, but we were not allowed. Got charged 11 euros for using the washing machine and the dryer once. Literally everything is extra cost, but when the host presented the accomodation to us, they never mentioned anything. The host would come every day for 'daily cleaning', although nothing was actually getting cleaned. The accomodation was close to the train station, although really far from the city center. Also, there is no garden/mountain view. The breakfast was horrible! Nothing to eat basically, we had juice and croissants from Lidl, no actual food.
