The room was modern, very spacious, and had great amenities like air conditioning, a lift, and a large bathroom with good water pressure in the shower. The location was also very central, which made it easy to explore Palermo. But the real highlight was the hospitality—Manuela was incredibly warm and patient, especially as I tried to speak Italian with her. She prepared a thoughtful breakfast each morning, always checking the night before to make sure it suited us. It really felt like a home away from home.

Manuela was such a great host and we loved our quick 2-night stay at Serendipity in Palermo! We got the room that had the bathroom as part of our room, and it was all so modern and clean. The AC worked really well and you could tell that Manuela thought of all the small things we would need to have a great stay. She was super easy to communicate with and she texted in advance to make sure we didn't have any food allergies. She got us the most delicious pastries for breakfast - I am still dreaming about that cornetto al pistacchio! She shared many tips with us on what to see/do and where to eat. The apartment itself is very centrally located - within walking distance to all the sites you'd want to see, many restaurants, the bus that takes you to Mondello beach, and the shuttle/bus that drops you to the airport. Manuela was also kind enough to arrange a taxi for us to get to our rental car agency when we left. I think there were about 3 other rooms in the BnB but we only saw other guests during breakfast, never heard them at other times. The BnB was on the 4th floor, with an elevator. If we were coming back to Palermo we would 100% book with Manuela again. Thank you for everything!

There was one small thing, the noise from the street was sometimes extreme during the night. If you bring earplugs, it will easily help, it wasn't a big deal all in all.

Serendipity was a perfect stay for us in Palermo. The apartment and rooms are at a perfect location, 10 mins walking distance from the main spots in the city. We found really good restaurants, bars and gelato in the neighborhood. Manuela, our host was really lovely and caring, we got good recommendations from her what to visit, where to eat, drink, we tested several which proved to be indeed great. The apartment is super new, very nice, cosy and comfy. You'll find a spacious kitchen where Manuela prepared amazing breakfast with local pastry and amazing coffee, and you can store your food in the fridge in room-dedicated boxes. We had our bathroom outside on the corridor, again super clean and very nice. Our room, the bed and the equipments were really comfy and practical.

Nothing -everything was absolutely perfect!

Nothing to dislike , it was perfect.

This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of Palermo. Walking distance to everything and yet not too touristy. It felt truly authentic. The accommodation was beyond our expectation, very cool design, spotlessly clean, private and quiet. The breakfast was amazing! We are still thinking about the pastries… Manuela the owner, is a gentle and kind host. It was lovely to meet her and her mother and they gave us excellent recommendations for places to see and eat. Palermo is a fantastic city , we hope to return and would love to stay at Serendipity again.

The streets outside of the property are run down and is surrounded by parked cars, which makes it slightly difficult to transport luggage. But that is not related to the host’s ability or in the host’s control. However, guests should be aware, if they travel heavy.

The host was very responsive and visibly takes a lot of pride in the property. The breakfast was fresh sweet pastries and fruit, yogurt, and hot coffees and espresso drinks prepared/brought by the host.

Everything, beautiful room, great location, hosts couldn't be longer or more welcoming. Breakfast was offered as sweet or savoury on request. Great location, accessible for everything, highly recommended

Breakfast starting at 8:30 is late for us but the hosts did offer takeaway when needed so it’s not a problem.

The hosts are so thoughtful and friendly. They provided such as welcoming environment for our whole stay. We loved the homemade treats and pleasant conversations in the mornings. They provided takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early.

The property didn’t have an iron, but not a huge problem!

Very friendly and kind staff. The bed was really comfortable and the breakfast included local foods that were delicious! Staff also came in to make up our room while we were out, which was a nice touch that one would usually only expect in a hotel.

The location was a little further out than other places we’d looked at but we were happy to walk 20ish minutes to most places but you could easily get the bus into the centre from the stop 5 minus away from the B&B!

We had a beautiful room which was really tastefully decorated and very clean. Towels were lovely and soft!! We received the warmest welcome from our lovely host who could not have done more for us throughout our stay - a lovely personal breakfast and lots of excellent recommendations and travel tips for our stay!

On the Saturday night it was quite noisy outside with music from a local bar but that can happen when you stay in a city.

It was very clean and Manuela and her mother were very welcoming and accomodating. Easy to get to and from the airport on the bus.

I didin’t realize that the property has two different type of rooms (one is with a bathroom inside/ the other is with separate bathroom) We happened to choose the one with separate bathroom. (We have never experienced this kind of room type. So it was a little bit shocking for us.) It would be better if the room type ( explained & emphasized clearly in the reservation page )

We spent our last three nights in wonderful Sicily at Serendipity B&B in Palermo. A perfect way to end our two week vacation. Manuela and her Mom go out of their way to make you feel at home. We felt like part of their family. We absolutely LOVED this B&B!!! The entire place is spotless. So clean!! Rooms, beds, linens, towels are all super comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Location is perfect! A short walk to the centre, and a short walk to the shuttle bus that takes you to the Airport. Next time we visit Palermo, we are definitely staying at Serendipity! Highly recommend this fabulous B&B.

The breakfast was really amazing - we had a great variety of sicilian sweets! The hosts were looking each wish from our eyes. The Serependity is located very central and you can walk very easily to the historical center of the town and their very beautiful sights!

Serendipity was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation is very highly finished - everything is very good quality, nicely designed and really comfortable. The room was light and spacious and had a great balcony. The shower is great. Manuela and her mother are excellent hosts - very welcoming, generous and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting them. We would highly recommend Serendipty.

The bathroom for our room was fully separate from the bedroom, so using the bathroom at night was inconvenient. However, this was described in the room description and I missed it. 2/4 rooms have external bathrooms, and the other 2 rooms have connected bathrooms

The room was large and the bathroom was spacious and the balcony was a lovely Place to spend some time in the morning and afternoon. Manuela was amazing! She was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions I had. The breakfast was a traditional Italian breakfast (sweet pastries) and they were so accommodating to my (many) dietary restrictions providing a lovely selection of gluten free pastries for me every morning, and gluten full pastries for my friend. There is also coffee or tea available at all times to guests, and there are locked boxes for each room in the fridge where water and juice are provided. Manuela and her mom were full of knowledge and recommendations of things to do/see in and around Palermo. They also work with a wonderful driver, Daniela, who you can hire for day trips or rides to the airport. I would absolutely recommend this place to friends who are going to visit Palermo. Having some basic Italian phrases would also be helpful when staying here!
