Exceptional place and service. Every single detail in the room was well designed so it makes your stay very pleasant. Breakfast was organized in living room with other guests, and it was amazing.

Loved the location We stayed in the room with the Tiger wallpaper which made me laugh every time I went into the room It’s the most eccentric and interesting room I have stayed in and we loved it! Breakfast was excellent Loved Trieste and loved the Lions Den

Everything was tops.

Everything is of high quality, our host Christian was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Breakfast is ample and tasty.

There were no tea and coffee making facilities outside of the breakfast time, which is the only fault of the property.

About the property - bed was very comfortable, excellent water pressure in the shower, very helpful staff and a wonderful breakfast! And the decor was fabulous! Would highly recommend.

Very lovely rooms! Cristian and Susann went out of their way to make it comfortable, provided excellent breakfast and helped with travel plans. 10/10 would stay here again :)

Cristian is an excellent host. This is well-designed and pleasant place to stay, with very comfy beds, large bathroom and tasty breakfast. It's on pedestrian zone and parking is quite close. Bottom line: total recommendation for city explorers looking for a quiet place to rest.

Excellent location right in the heat of Trieste and yet still quiet, large and comfy rooms that are spotlessly clean, really helpful staff and great breakfast

Would have been nice for someone to have been available to welcome us at check in time, and our room wasn’t available until after 4 pm, but the written instructions were very clear and we had no problems accessing the property and were able to leave our luggage. The lady who served us breakfast was also absolutely lovely

Fantastic location, great breakfast (the homemade pizza and bread were delicious) and the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in!

Everything was just perfect, the host’s clear indications to get in and all the informations about Trieste, the whole place is amazingly well decorated, the room is clean and pretty, the beds very comfortable, the breakfast homemade and delicious, the host is present at breakfast and very helpful to organize the day’s visits. We loved our stay at the Lion’s Den and truly hope to be back someday.

What a marvelous place! Everything was perfect. The hosts were so welcoming, friendly, ready to help whenever needed. We felt extremely well and barely wanted to leave the apartment ;) It is so beautiful and stylish. The big living room where the breakfast takes place also has a big balcony which can be used by the guests. We also had the luxury of a small balcony directly in our room. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The location is just perfect, right at the boulevard, with plenty of restaurants and shops, but much less tourists and still in a walkable distance (15-20min) to the main attractions and a shore. If in Trieste we will definitely come back here. It was so good I almost don't want anyone else to know about it haha

At night you hear the noise from upper floor

The Junior Suite is beautifully designed and spacious. The shower particularly amazing! Perhaps missing an armchair for comfortable sitting in the room. The host was kindly accommodating with our dietary restrictions for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Lion’s Den B&B in Trieste. It’s perfectly located for walking in every direction to explore the City and for enjoying the restaurants and nightlife. We parked nearby in secure parking and had no problem walking to the B&B. Cristian was a wonderful host, welcoming us with a homemade breakfast and many good suggestions for things to do. We slept so well each night and had hot showers each morning. The warmth and personality of the property. We appreciated the comfortable community living room and dining space with balcony for relaxing, reading or trip planning. Thank you Cristian! You’ve made a beautiful, warm, welcoming accommodation in Trieste!

The suit could use a small desk and chair, to be able to sit and work on a laptop if needed.

breakfast was excellent, staff and owner friendly and very helpful, location very good, easy access to shops, restaurants and sight seeing. highly recommend staying here. overall an excellent choice. very unusual and classy rooms, dining room luxurious and comfortable.
