Carmela was absolutely the best host we have ever had! She was so welcoming and extremely helpful during our stay. The special attention she gives her guests is so appreciated. From the welcome aperitif of local meats, cheeses, and their own olives, to the delicious breakfast she delivers (you choose the type and delivery time). The trullo itself has been renovated with such care and was by far our favorite place we stayed during our 3 weeks in Italy; from Florence to the Amalfi Coast to Alberobello. While the hosts share the property, you'd never know it because it's like you have the whole place to yourselves. This is a VERY special place; we hated to leave.

It is a super authentic place. Extremely cozy, well-equipped and very clean. If you look for an amazing Trullo experience, this is your place. Furthermore, you will be welcomed by the host with a plate of local specialties and your breakfast will be brought to your room.

There's nothing I disliked. For me, I loved the location about 5+ minutes drive outside of Alberobello, in a small village surrounded by olive tree groves. For those who want to be right in Alberobello and who don't want to drive a car, this may not be a good fit. For me, perfect.

I loved staying at Trullo Sweet Trullo, and would definitely stay here again if I return to this area of Puglia. Carmen, the host, was wonderful. So friendly, proactive, accommodating, always asking to make sure all was well and my every need was being met. The trullo and rooms in it were gorgeous. Breakfast was outstanding.

The place is authentic, cozy and beautiful. We would easily be able to spend 10 days there watching the olive garden, eating and relaxing. And the host - she is outstanding, a perfect fit with the place itself. The food she prepares is local and plenty. Highly recommended to anyone.

Everything was exactly as photos. Wonderful visit! They went out of their way to accommodate our vegan diet. Delicious aperitivo and breakfast - we truly appreciated the local fruits, olives, italian breads & focaccia. So grateful we chose to stay outside of the city. We hope to be back!

I drove past the trullo to 126 , so perhaps large property numbers would indicate which building I needed, but that was all, everything else was exceptional.

Carmela is a warm person with a wonderful welcome after a long journey. The trullo is everything I hoped it would be and so much more. Her attention to my needs was faultless and I will definitely be telling all my friends and family about my amazing night and look forward to spending a longer stay there next year with my husband. Thank you for making my first stay in a trullo so special.

Absolutely awsome ! Great quiet location in a small village in the middle of trulli's area. Beautiful, comfy and very clean trullo.Great taste in furniture and decoration. Huge and delicious breakfasts with local products. And I was welcome with a great aperitivo. Thank you so much for your hospitality ! I highly recommend this trullo !

It’s better to arrive by Car than by Bus

Staying at trullo sweet trullo was such a nice experience I loved having the trullo all for myself. Outside its original but perfectly modern on the inside ! Nice heating and a fully equipped kitchen 🙏🏻 The bed was comfy and the sheets smelled so good 🥰 the bathroom was super nice, modern and clean. When it’s nice and sunny outside I bet you can enjoy the terrace in their beautiful olivetree-garden as well… Carmela welcomed me so warmly and sweet and with a huge, delicious appetitivo 😍 She was always available for me and helped me with everything I needed - nothing was too much to ask for 🫠 🥰 All in all I was so lucky to spend my time in this beautiful trullo and to have met Carmela and experience her original Italian hospitality 🥰 Grazie Mille ❤️
