Because it’s so secluded which we didn’t mind - would have been nice to have a little store/area to purchase everyday items.

The ambiance of the salt water pools overlooking the ocean, that was amazing! The sunsets were incredible. The food was delicious every day. Our room overlooking the ocean was clean everyday.

The cabin I stayed in was good, but the floorboards were soft in some areas; could be as a result from termites.

The hospitality of the staff, the seclusion of the area and the tranquillity it offers. Pools were clean too but directly in the sun so it’s nice when you go in the evenings.

the internet service was down, the gentlemen who checked our room spent time on his phone rather than making sure all was well. oversall the experience was nice though.

the place was secluded and very nice. We enjoyed that outdoor feel. I would stay there again.

It's a shame we only stayed for one night.

We were looking for somewhere convenient in Negril, not too far from Rick's Cafe and 7 mile beach to stay for a night whilst visiting different places in Jamaica. This was such a beautiful little spot. The sea view rooms were beautiful. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

Loved everything!

I had an amazing stay at Westender Inn! The food was absolutely delicious, and the room was exquisite, clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The pool areas were very nice and perfect for relaxing. What really stood out was the tranquil and calm atmosphere throughout the resort. It’s the perfect getaway if you’re looking to unwind and enjoy some peace and quiet. Highly recommend!

My partner and I had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Westender Inn for 4 days and 3 nights, celebrating his birthday. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the property's breathtaking beauty. We spent our days leisurely exploring the meticulously manicured grounds, discovering hidden gems and taking in the tranquil atmosphere. The pièce de résistance was the three magnificent pools, strategically located near the edge of the cliff, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Whether we were lounging by the pool, taking a refreshing dip, or simply basking in the sun, every moment at Westender Inn was pure bliss. The property's unique blend of natural beauty, luxurious amenities, and warm hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable.

Very laid back! Beautiful sunset, great bar, good room, amazing view and pools too. I am going back for sure. Its a distance to get there from negril town but it was worth every mile. Pool is 24hr access which was a plus for me.

Very peaceful, joyful, surrounded by nature hotel. Gorgeous property with mango trees and beautiful flowers, cute cottages. Staff is amazing, accommodating any requests, food delicious. It was very pleasant stay.

Westender Inn – A Peaceful Cliffside Gem After exploring Montego Bay and staying in villas around Negril, we continued our trek through Jamaica and made our way to the cliffs of Westmoreland. This was our third stop—and we loved it so much that we extended our stay! The grounds are lush and peaceful, with stunning views and a calm vibe. The saltwater pool overlooking the ocean was a dream, and the sunsets every evening were unreal. We stayed in a cozy cottage shaded by a mango tree. Even without A/C, the ocean breeze and Roman shades kept it cool and relaxing. The on-site restaurant is a hidden treasure—don’t miss the snapper rundown, jerk shrimp, or escovitch shrimp. Everything was full of flavor! The staff made us feel at home and truly looked out for us. Bonus tip: Get a massage next door right on the cliffs—it’s life-changing. Westender Inn is a true escape. We’ll definitely be back!

10/10 Stay! The grounds at Westender Inn are absolutely beautiful and well maintained, tucked away in the peaceful cliffs area beyond Rick’s Café. If you're looking to explore the town, you’ll want a car or can catch the convenient daily shuttle...but honestly, you might not want to leave at all! The on-site restaurant serves up some of the best meals we had in Jamaica. Highly recommend the **snapper rundown**, **jerk shrimp**, **escovitch shrimp**, and the **shrimp pasta**, everything was incredibly flavorful and fresh. You're officially on island time here, no rush, no worries. Sit back, relax, and take in the breathtaking sunsets each evening. The saltwater pool was a personal favorite, and the staff? Super friendly, attentive, and always looking out for you. We stayed in a cozy cottage with no A/C, but the Roman shades and ocean breeze kept it cool and comfortable. Plus, there was a beautiful mango tree right outside that made the space feel even more special. **Pro tip:** Head next door for a **massage on the cliffs**—a truly unforgettable experience. This place is a hidden gem, and we will definitely be back!

The offer of hot water in the shower would have made the stay even better. The water was not freezing cold, however, it was just bearable, especially after being out in the sun for a couple of hours.

The breakfast was amazing. A great authentic Jamaican breakfast. I would definitely advise adding breakfast to your stay here. The fruit platter was delicious.

Nothing really - if it is your first time then you should be aware that it is a 15 minute ride from the center of Negril but the hotel does run a shuttle - for me, being a bit out is an advantage

Everything!!! I have stayed at the Westender on multiple occassions and this won't be my last stay. It is just such a layed back place to stay - friendly staff, good food and fantastic sunsets

To be honest, I don't find queen-size beds to be the appropriate size for two people (even though I'm neither tall nor "big"). This was particularly annoying for our ocean-view room that had conflicting information regarding bed size on the booking.com website (in one place it said king-size; in another place it said queen-size).
