I liked everything!

The hanbok was immaculate - super clean. Was amazing to have our own little house. Bed was comfortable and even had a tv and WiFi. Our host kindly left us with bread, butter, and fruits so we could have breakfast at our table. The location was brilliant, right in the middle of a great area.

Having to sit on the floor is difficult if travelling with limited mobility, however it is part of the traditional feeling for those who are able to sit like that.

Beautiful accommodation, very clean. Excellent location, easy walking distance from Unesco sites and from many restaurants. Fresh fruit and bread provided daily for breakfast. Very traditional feeling.

The only thing I can think of is the low doorframe.

I was in a small apartment with 2 rooms, a bathroom and a kitchenette. Everything I needed was there. I found it quite spacious even. Breakfast was ready to self-prepare on the counter and in the fridge. The staff was not always on site but reachable just in case. The courtyard has a small garden and was really pretty. There’s always a cat wandering around. The property offers access via key pad. Impossible to lose a key! The access codes were sent by e-mail.

Everything was perfect

The accommodation is close to all the attractions, restaurants and everything you need. It was incredibly convenient and comfortable. We loved every aspect of it! The bed was SO incredibly comfortable! We loved admiring the design of the place. The breakfast and coffee provided were great as well. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend! You will love it!

Absolutely loved this hanok stay! The place was newly renovated inside and looking lovely outside. Everything in the room was new, clean and comfortable, beds were amazing and some really good toiletries were provided. It was right in the middle part of the old town so close to all attractions. Hands down our best stay in korea! Communication and arrival was super easy too!

It was by far the best stay we had in South Korea. The owner was doing a perfect job with making our stay most enjoyable - she even helped us with some bookings, pur on the AC an hour before we arrived and offered a great variation of coffee and tea. Also, the location is absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend booking Yeonyijae enough - I would definitely come back. Thank you for our stay!

Such a fantastic stay here. The host could not be more accommodating and helpful. The apartment is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. Breakfast with homemade jam is delicious. Coffee and tea is also provided which was nice. Perfect location for all restaurants and attractions. Definitely book here for your next trip!

A serene traditional house (Hanok), in an enclosed private garden with a charming rock garden. Quiet and peaceful, yet within walking reach of everything. The real bonus was the gentle, warm host that we barely saw, but who always made sure we had everything we needed. Gracious and generous, we couldn’t have asked for more. One of the few facilities we’ve experienced in any country that exceeded expectations

Everything. The whole property was charming with great attention to detail. The room was more like an apartment with a kitchenette, living area and a spacious bathroom. The house-lady was LOVELY, very friendly, helpful and attentive. Good water pressure in the shower. Excellent location in the heart of the old town, walking distance from a lot of sightseeing places. Plethora of cafes and restaurants around.

This was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. The hanok has its own private courtyard and the rooms are nice and warm with underfloor heating. The host was really nice too and kept the rooms very clean. The location is right in the middle of the town with easy access to all the main sites.
