Warmly welcomed by Thushara, even though we were early and able to leave our tuktuk and bags until our room was ready. Good location with nice 10 minute walk to the beach past restaurants which are geared up for tourists but good prices. Room was good, clean, bed was comfortable, good shower pressure and lovely breakfast. Enjoyed the seating outside the room to sit and relax and the smell of the frangipani trees.

The shower could have a curtain around it so water doesn't spill over the bathroom floor. And/or a mop to mop excess water away from shower area

The villas are as per the photos. Clean spacious and well appointed. Obviously a lot of care and intention has gone into these 2 year old villas. The furniture and fittings were all very good quality and the veranda area pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. Communication pre arrival was timely from owner Chamil, and the manager Thushara was very attentive to any of our requests. Breakfasts were very nice with fruits, local foods and toast/jams. Free Tuk Tuk into town (10mins walk) was a bonus and for LKR200 you could get a Tuk Tuk back from Mirissa Beach. Highly recommended and we would stay again. We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful the villa was. The villa had everything we needed in it refridgerator, mosquito nets, tv, kettle, wifi, aircon a cuppboard for clothes.. There was a great space out the front to do daily yoga practice for me. The breaky portions were yummy and great size. It was also wonderful to have a complimentary tuk tuk ride to the main road. The location was close to food shopping tuk tuk ride to coconut hill and secret beach. We also took a tuk tuk to Wilgama beach for some surfing. Thurshara who ran the villas was very nice and accomodating- always smiling. For anyone who wants to stay in a quiet clean nice place in Marissa I recommend here 🤩

I recently stayed at Coastal Villa in Mirissa with my partner and had a great time. The room was clean, spacious, and had comfortable bedding. The bathroom was also dry and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, and guided us to have the best experience at this resort. The room service was excellent, and the staff went out of their way to fulfill all our requirements. The food was delicious and offered both spicy and non-spicy options. We loved the authentic Sri Lankan breakfast they provided. The property included a nice garden and free parking I strongly recommend Coastal Villa Mirissa for a lovely and peaceful getaway! The warm hospitality makes you feel at home. You'll have a fantastic time!

I spent one night at a Coastal Villa in Mirissa, and it was one of my best experiences in Sri Lanka. The villa is situated in a calm and quiet area, yet it is within walking distance to both the town and the beach. The rooms are spacious, and the beds were clean and comfortable. The air conditioner functioned well during the extremely hot weather, and the staff were very helpful. Initially, we did not book the room with a meal included, but the staff were accommodating and provided a variety of delicious Sri Lankan dishes on short notice. I decided to extend my stay, and the villa staff easily fulfilled my request. I recommend Coastal Villa to anyone seeking a place to stay in Mirissa.

We stayed here for 2 nights and the room was big enough for 2 adults and one kid with spacious bathroom and sit area. Located half a kilometre from the beach and good restaurants. Even the in-house food was nice and tasty. Thanks for providing a pleasant stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coastal Villa Mirissa. We loved the location which was close enough to the beach but away from the noisy Main street. The rooms were completely clean, the beds comfortable and the breakfast delicious. We even extended our stay. The staff was far beyond welcoming and made our stay simply perfect. We highly recommend staying here.

This is a personal preference, I’m not keen on having the A/C opposite the bed, the chilled draft hit your head at night and it’s not comfortable, we try different settings but it did not help. Also, there are missing some loungers on the terrace.

The room was spacious, airy, nicely decorated, with a/c and with all the necessary furniture.

- great location around 15 minutes walk to the beach. - extremely quiet! This hotel is on a dead end road and is the quietest place I stayed in while in Sri Lanka - comfortable beds, hot water, clean - they accept credit cards (with a small fee)

The shower wasn’t cleaned well. And it was either hot or cold water often.

It is quite hidden from the hectic beach life. Although you need to walk around 10/15 minutes to the beach, but it is a nice walk through the local village, we liked it, in a shade of green vegetation and greeting local kids , it was nice. There are all types of animals though 😅 peacocks 🦚 , monkeys 🙉, and a lot of mosquitoes, 🦟, I would recommend to take a mosquito repellent 100%. The staff was very kind especially the man who was hosting us unfortunately I have forgotten his name. He has also help to arrange us a van last minute. Kind man.

The property is not near the beach and also the access is through a narrow road so access to eateries and visits to beach can be limited.

The rooms and bath were very spacious and comfortable, clean and had TV, water kettle, tea/coffee, sugar, toiletries, clean towels etc. Rooms also had nice chairs outside to sit around although we spent only a night over. Caretaker staff was very courteous and helpful. They also arranged for the whale safari and the pick up in the morning was prompt to take us to the ferry point. Part of my family couldnt take up the safari but they got breakfast from the hotel and the stay was comfortable. Mirissa has very limited pure vegetarian options with only one Vegan restaurant - the Slow that qualifies - who obviously fleece you.

The hotel is very comfortable and private. Not many rooms and when we stayed it was just us. Rooms are big and clean. You've all the amenities needed. The staff are extremely pleasant and provided good service for us. Breakfast on site was a plus point in a very calm setting. The hotel is inside which provided the quietness required and away from the main road. There are many cafes within walking distance. Good value for money. Definitely coming back here if visiting Mirissa.

One exhaust fan would have been better in toilet. Wall clock was not working in room. Needs battery change. White towels are preferred in toilets. Mosquito liquidator machine was not working.

The property is good, all rooms in ground floor. Clean toilet with hot water by solar heating system. Area was safe for family.
