The owner was very lovely and accommodating, even offered to drop us off at the bus stop. Very clean room with all the facilities. Would definitely recommend staying here !

Big room, aircon working good, bed clean. Personal was very kind, let us use the washing machine and took us to the bus station. Always very attentive. Good location, a little walk to the beach but good to be out of the noisy traffic.

Small walk to the main road of Mirissa but could be quite an intense walk with many dogs. Bathroom has a bit of wear and tear but still everything functioned perfectly fine.

Amazing staff who were super helpful with transport. Room was basic but great value for money. Had Air Con and a fan to keep cool.

Everything was lovely, we even extended our stay.

Property might look a bit wild at first, but the room was perfectly clean with everything we needed. The host was super welcoming, we had some lovely chats and even got fresh coconuts from his garden, which turned out to be a green, little paradise. He can help with renting a scooter, booking diving trips, whale watching etc and even offered to drive us to the bus. Washing machine (even washing powder) and clothing lines are provided, as well as a kitchen with fridge. Property is just a few minutes from the main road by foot, but very quiet.

Perfect stay! The owner was so incredibly nice and helped us whenever we needed it. Great aircon, clean rooms, hot water, has everything you need! Incredible value for money. Also rented our scooter here which was super convenient at a good price. Would definitely stay here again - 10/10

Accessing the room requires walking down a muddy, poorly lit driveway. Given Sri Lanka’s frequent heavy downpours, this can be a bit annoying to get your feet or sandals dirty on the way out, it’s not a major issue.

Although basic, the room was clean, spacious and comfortable for a 3 night stay. The host was friendly, we rented a scooters for a good price! Wifi worked really well!

Great accommodation, close by to the main strip, but in a quiet garden area. Clean and comfortable room with the added bonus for me of use of a washing machine! The owners live close by and extremely helpful and friendly. Good value for this budget accommodation.

the bedsheet was not clean and the mattress had stains. there was old soap in the bathroom.

the owner was very kind and sweet. he dropped us to the bus stop and helped us in everything. he has a scooty and tuk tuk available on rent. he gave us complimentary breakfast. it is 10 min walk from the beach and cafes. he helped us with late check in. it is affordable.

The mosquitoes are fierce but I guess they are everywhere in the area, especially in this time of the year.

Quiet environment, big room, comfortable bed with mosquito net. Equipped with a fan and AC. A washing machine and the kitchen are available for free. We could easily have spent there more time if we had more in our hands.

Best stay I had in Sri Lanka! Super clean, large room, very comfortable bed, ac and wifi working perfectly, location is great, very close to everything but at the same time super quiet. All the place is full with greenery and so lovely. But the best part is the awesome family who runs the place, they are SUPER nice, welcoming and go far and beyond for you. Don't miss out!

The room is located close to the centre of mirissa but far enough away to be really peaceful and quiet. The hosts were so friendly and even gave us a fresh coconut each when we arrived. They also gave us umbrellas for when it was raining and they have a tuktuk too. I would definitely recommend staying here, the rooms were really clean and the whole place had a really nice vibe.

I felt like home in Green Jade Inn, having planned a very short stay, it ended up to be a very long one! The very nice owner family does everything to make you feel comfortable, Janitha cares so much about his guests' wellbeing that he would check in regularly to make sure I am alright or to ask if there is anything I needed. The brother, who is on site, is one of the kindest persons I've ever met. Always smiling, he might just bring some yummie food or coconut from time to time and enlightened my days like this.=) Also he has a tuktuk and can bring you to e.g. bus stops when needed as a "service of the house", which is amazing! Regarding the room, you have great value for money, the rooms are over-average in size with a huge bed and big bathroom, also there is a lot of light coming in. There is AC and a fan and a table + chairs in the room which is great if you have to work with your computer. Regarding work: they do have fiber Internet, so no problems with video calls. Also, there is a shared kitchen that can be used. The house is in a calm area, a green garden where the only "noise" is the animals you hear. Every room has a small terrace where you can enjoy the garden when it's not too hot. (Only hammocks are missing ;-) ). But it's not far to the main road, around 4 minutes, and again same to the beach, so in max 10 mins you are at the ocean. Also the big supermarket is super close. Overall, I was very sad when I had to leave this place that became my home in the time I spent there. I absolutely recommend staying in Green Jade Inn! Thank you for everything and I'm looking forward to coming back.

Words can’t describe how lucky we were to stay at Green Jade Inn! We initially booked to stay for 1 week at the beginning of our travels in Sri Lanka, and by the end of our initial week we ended up booking in to stay for an additional 3 weeks once we had completed our travels through the country. The family that own this guesthouse are some of the most honest and amazing people we have ever met over our travels - they continually ensured we were looked after in every possible way through small acts of generosity and kindness - it’s easy for us to say that our fantastic stay in Mirissa was largely down to their warm hospitality they showed towards us every day. — The room itself is great as well, everything is very clean and orderly - it has AC, ceiling fan, hot water, mosquito net, very fast wifi, clothes closet and a table/chairs — The guesthouse itself is situated in the quieter neighbourhood behind the busy Main Street of Mirissa - it’s a 5mins walk from this street as well as only a few more minutes walk from the beach — Over all of our travels, Green Jade Inn is by far the best guesthouse we have ever stayed at, everything is perfect and one couldn’t ask for anymore in a guesthouse — Thank you so much and we hope to be back in Mirissa soon!
